I have a honeysuckle bush that is now blooming, it smells so good. I also have some tulip bulbs coming up and my irises will bloom very soon. I love the spring before it gets really hot. I can't believe there is anyone who doesn't watch to the end...sillies! Our irises are just fading and the honeysuckle is in the air here too. I spent many a day sipping honeysuckle nectar as a young girl. And we love to sing-a-long to songs all the time. On the road trip to Nashville in March we sang along to the radio for hours :)

I loved hearing your comments about the honeysuckle. I love honeysuckle. We did the same thing when we were small, but we have honeysuckle on our fence row and we have wisteria bushes in bloom. We have clematis in bloom and we have this one tree we call it a thorn tree not sure what the real name of it is, but it has clusters of white blooms hanging like grapes from the tree. You’ve never smelled anything so sweet in your life. I look forward to them every year you walk outside and you can smell them. Totally enjoyed your video today.❤

In Wyoming our lilacs are never sure if they should poke their lovely heads out or not! Our bush has leaves and buds but, sadly, those little purple darlings get a cold "bite", even in April and May! It has been in the 70s, which teases our plants, and then we'll have some chilly days and nights that just get them!
I am so glad you have another video! I loved that you all hide the flamingos ever in the shop! All I have that is really blooming are my irises but my peonies have so many buds on them right now! And, of course my hummingbird feeders are hosting bees right now! Have a great week! Retirement will be wonderful for you!
We've had daffodils and forsythia blooming here; our tulips, irises and lilacs should be out soon along with blossoming trees like the apple trees and such. 🪡👠

I was out of town and missed the 24 hoc event. You all are a hoot and I can only imagine the fun in hiding in plain sight 300 tiny flamingos. My hibiscus is blooming and I have the biggest bumble bees flying around. You talking about honeysuckle took me back years, yummy and smells so good. It sounds like you had a fantastic weekend, I watched your previous video and got to see your daughter-in-law and some of your table mates, they all were so sweet and seem like tons of fun. Yessss, I definitely relate to the “stall” when my mother was alive, she would often finish my ufo’s, oh how I miss that. I’m in Georgia and have Indian Hawthorne hedges and trees that the bees just love. I noticed yesterday my light pink lantana is also getting ready to bloom and my sweet olives have blooms that smell amazing. Hope you have a great day back at work.

We had some tame blackberries at our last home that were so good. They were huge. I could put 4 berries in my hand and they would go from the bottom of my palm to the top of my middle finger. I’ve been meaning to plant some here too!

I’m so glad you were able to laugh and de-stess with friends this weekend. It’s been a number of years since I went on a retreat..it was a quilting one..but I still have such good memories of stitching and laughing and eating together. Definitely a way to de-stress😊 It’s wonderful your new daughter-in-law is stitching and could go with you! We are in central Washington state so we are just getting into Spring as far as flowers blooming. I still have tulips, though they are on their way out of and I saw a big bumblebee on one a few days ago. I have lots of flower seeds going in my greenhouse so I really hope to have lots of color around my house this summer. I hope your week brings joy instead of headaches this week! 🤗 Suzette

And the marsh marigolds are a welcome splash of sunshine in the pond. But it’s really cold here in the U.K. at the moment so things may slow down a little….
Oh the range of colors and smells….lovely. Mother Nature hasn’t decided if it is Winter or Spring quite yet. Our days are hot and the nights cold. She’ll sort it out in a month or so. Have a lovely week. ❤️

Your retreat sounds wonderful. We have a few flowers blooming now but not many. We had a late freeze and our butterfly magnolia was affected but our redbud tree just finished blooming. None of the tulips here made it thru the freeze. I can't wait to plant my flower pots in two weeks. Love the queen bee and garden pollinators patterns.
I’m always sad when hit with a late freeze. It takes a little of the beautify of the season away and damages the local peach crops. Happy Stitching! ❤️
I just purchased a couple of blackberry plants for my son in law to plant. They live on a farm so we already get other berries. My Lily of the Valley has bloomed and smells so sweet. Excited to get flowers for my containers this year.
Fun video, glad your getaway was fun. I guess I could sing out loud in a crowded noisy place. We have lots of various Cactus blooming, and I have potted annual flowers (snapdragons, pansy, petunias...). My daffodils bloomed last month.

I have honey bee's. They are so interesting and fun. I have a few wild flowers the Redbud trees bloomed early. But I also have my vegetable garden, well what hasn't drowned. I'm in Central Texas and have been having record flooding

I am having trouble stitching, too. Lots of distractions, Spring Fever, juvenile squirrels' antics outside, wild birds etc. I am going to try to stitch while I watch/listen this.
Squirrel are running amuck right now. There was a squirrel at the Air BNB that sat on a limb right outside the kitchen window and talked with us for about 20 minutes Saturday morning. I was so surprised that he allowed so close for so long.
@@mischievousstitches probably wanted roasted peanuts and/or a nice apple. The Fox squirrels here chase each other which is funny and sit in the tree by my CrOffice window and scold me lol.
I watched the video with your friends and daughter-in-law so I had to come check you out. My dogwood blooms are gone but I have a few sad iris blooming. I don't have time to are for flowers because I'm always stitching. Lol
Fun video. I just attended the Stitch west retreat in Ogden Utah last week ( week before.? Hmm I don’t know .?very local to me this time 15 min. Away.Primrose Cottage was the designers they are so Wonderful we had so much fun.They came around individually to our tables as they could. So o fun Take care.......

Like you, I often stall close to a finish. There is something deep in my subconscious causing it, I think, because I do it with other things, too. I have to force myself to finish, which feels more like work, but I am so happy with it when finally done. Strange…
You just made miss my honeysuckle vine so much! I had one when I lived in Texas and just loved it! Now I live in Florida and all I have flowering now are bougainvillea bushes. Very pretty but no scent !☹☹
I also have a "stalling" issue. I've been working on this massive piece ( 226,600 stitches) and I've got about 20,000 stitches to go and I am finding it hard to stay focused. But I really want to finish it this year so I am trying to push through. So I can really sympathize with you!

None of the tulips here made it thru the freeze. I can't wait to plant my flower pots in two weeks. Love the queen bee and garden pollinators patterns.
I’m always sad when hit with a late freeze. It takes a little of the beautify of the season away and damages the local peach crops.

I just purchased a couple of blackberry plants for my son in law to plant. They live on a farm so we already get other berries. My Lily of the Valley has bloomed and smells so sweet. Excited to get flowers for my containers this year.

Fun video, glad your getaway was fun. I guess I could sing out loud in a crowded noisy place. We have lots of various Cactus blooming, and I have potted annual flowers (snapdragons, pansy, petunias...). My daffodils bloomed last month.
Snap Dragons are a favorite of mine too. They have such bright happy colors. Enjoy!

I have a blooming Lilac bush that is the prettiest color of purple.

I have honey bee's. They are so interesting and fun. I have a few wild flowers the Redbud trees bloomed early. But I also have my vegetable garden, well what hasn't drowned. I'm in Central Texas and have been having record flooding

I am having trouble stitching, too. Lots of distractions, Spring Fever, juvenile squirrels' antics outside, wild birds etc. I am going to try to stitch while I watch/listen this.
Squirrel are running amuck right now. There was a squirrel at the Air BNB that sat on a limb right outside the kitchen window and talked with us for about 20 minutes Saturday morning. I was so surprised that he allowed so close for so long.
@@mischievousstitches probably wanted roasted peanuts and/or a nice apple. The Fox squirrels here chase each other which is funny and sit in the tree by my CrOffice window and scold me lol.
I watched the video with your friends and daughter-in-law so I had to come check you out. My dogwood blooms are gone but I have a few sad iris blooming. I don't have time to are for flowers because I'm always stitching. Lol

Fun video. I just attended the Stitch west retreat in Ogden Utah last week ( week before.? Hmm I don’t know .?very local to me this time 15 min. Away.Primrose Cottage was the designers they are so Wonderful we had so much fun.They came around individually to our tables as they could. So o fun Take care.......

Like you, I often stall close to a finish. There is something deep in my subconscious causing it, I think, because I do it with other things, too. I have to force myself to finish, which feels more like work, but I am so happy with it when finally done. Strange…
I’m not sure why I do it either. Yes it is strange.

My pepper plants are just now blooming.
It is exciting to watch vegetable plants grow. I guess it’s the anticipation of tasting the food dishes that you will one day cook with them.

You just made miss my honeysuckle vine so much! I had one when I lived in Texas and just loved it! Now I live in Florida and all I have flowering now are bougainvillea bushes. Very pretty but no scent !☹☹

I also have a "stalling" issue. I've been working on this massive piece ( 226,600 stitches) and I've got about 20,000 stitches to go and I am finding it hard to stay focused. But I really want to finish it this year so I am trying to push through. So I can really sympathize with you!
