I dont know how many people have said something like this already, but the "psychic" left the chat because you were being too specific with your issue and if it went any further he wouldn't be able to cold read and use vauge language without it becoming obvious what he was doing and wasn't actually responding properly

I am just a young boy from ohio without a father, my mother has been crying ever since she listened to the audio of your podcast. What did you guys say?
After making a 17 minute video exposing psychics, the audience still fell for Raven's vague cold read. When she said "something big, like a show", she was being vague and mysterious because that's her job, making you draw conclusions for her. But everyone a year later is like "she was right, comedy central!".
And as always, thank you. Well that’s their thing. Be vague and eventually things will come true. She thought he was a juggler, so knives are a pretty logical conclusion. Also if gus ever held a knife in a video someone would go YO THE PSYCHIC GOT IT RIGHT even tho it was complete coincidence.
That’s called a post-hawk fallacy. Connecting something that was predicted in the past to something that happened in the present weather it’s sincerely connected or not.
@@johnathanarcher6999 And people wonder how "psychics" make money. We're here to watch a video that points out the utter ridiculousness of this bullshit con, and yet people in the comments are still buying it anyway.
Imagine ur in a relationship, and she breaks up with you. You ask why and they say “I talked to a psychic on the phone and they told me we don’t belong together”
this is why i cant give my friends tarot readings like if ur not brutally honest and in depth/specific about the interpretation theres literally no use, every "offical" tarot reading my friends have gotten have been like you will get good news and a family eventually like no SHIT
To be 'aspiring' in anything, that means you've chosen it as a pursuit and have done or researched enough of it to know you want it. That's an incredibly vague statement that is really more of a "no shit, you mean I've taken steps to get something I want?" than actual prediction
Raven low key predicted that Gus was already on TH-cam, was gonna tour nationally, have a special that is being recorded soon, and was working with a group of people on an “entertaining” show on Comedy Central.
1. She didn't predict he was already on TH-cam, he literally said he wanted to make a youtube channel, and she said he likely already made some kind of start. That's just obvious cold reading. 2. I am willing to bet she tells every wannabe entertainer they're going to tour nationally. Considering it was an established youtuber who called her, it was obvious he was going on tour. She may not have known it, but considering she likely says it to every entertainer, the fact she also said it to an already established entertainer isn't impressive. 3. She said he was going to be contacted by two people to work on a stage production with other jugglers. That is completely different than being contacted by comedy central to be on an actual show.
It's almost like she said a bunch of intentionally vague stuff based on the information she got that could apply to a bunch of different possible outcomes that might happen to someone who's going after a career in entertainment
The psychic was actually super accurate. You kept pushing the juggling thing, but what if you end up on SNL or something...and come on the knife meme. I'm totally convinced.
I like to think that when she says she’s “picking up knives” she doesn’t mean in a psychic way, she’s just genuinely confused as to why the keeps picking up and putting down knives.
"There's a man and a woman." "Oh! I know a woman AND a man. She's good!" Seriously lady? This appeals to everyone! Anyone can be vague, it doesn't make them a psychic.

I feel like you're using a lay interpretation of "psychopath" and it's confusing to me because I know what ASPD is and how psycophaths behave and it doesn't add up to me. I think that's where we're having a difference of opinion.
hey eddy, really liked this video. my favorite part was when you said lasagna. thank
I believe it’s pronounced tarot
I pronounce it tarot
@@rachelcarmody1278 what are you a fucking sociopath?! It's pronounced tarot not tarot
I’m British and we pronounce it like tarot
The best insult: "You look like you're worth 10 cents a minute."
did she predict the comedy central collaboration? and all of the knives being sent to the p.o. box?
I KNOW! How are people not mentioning these!
Yess exactlyy
She was just thrown off by the juggling but she was going in a good direction
No. They basically asked for the knives, and any successful comedian (which he already was) is bound to get a special.
Well when you're vague it's easy to be right

It should be Eddy and Guys not Gus and Eddy this is Eddy's channel he can't be bullied by Gus anymore
Yeah Guys stop bullying Eddies!
Eddy and Guys
I genuinely wonder how many of these people are consciously bullshitting and how many actually think they're predicting the future.
Been waiting for this one since you mentioned on podcast.
They advertise "autocomplete" and "word suggestion" as a feature, because they know what you're gonna write before you write it.
Gus is incredibly great at prank calling because he’s so polite.
Gus in one year: juggling knives and kittens with five others on a stage with a man and a woman in the background in suits
I'm sorry to disappoint, but maybe next year
Where Gus's lady demographic at? 🙋
I am Rosa parks
Let me in your house please?

Hiii
I'm here!
I am just a young boy from ohio without a father, my mother has been crying ever since she listened to the audio of your podcast. What did you guys say?
I get the pun
@@freexbandit3371 it's not a pun it's just a joke
After making a 17 minute video exposing psychics, the audience still fell for Raven's vague cold read.
When she said "something big, like a show", she was being vague and mysterious because that's her job, making you draw conclusions for her. But everyone a year later is like "she was right, comedy central!".
As an Italian I can confirm that we always say LASAGNA to give advice
And BOLOGNA as..well that's a city but the lasagna part was definitely true
Ketsu-wo-taberu boLAGNA IS A CITY???
I'm from Bologna and yes I do not live in food
Linguini!
so technically... she was right about the "special" the "entertaining show" and group of people (comedy central originals)
@@johnathanarcher6999 On the podcast everybody sends them knives
@@realmofthemisunderstood166 so you know, it's "post-hoc", not hawk.
@@johnathanarcher6999 And people wonder how "psychics" make money. We're here to watch a video that points out the utter ridiculousness of this bullshit con, and yet people in the comments are still buying it anyway.
Gus kind of looks like if Cara Delevigne were a guy
But like hotter
I'd buy his bathwater.
I literally couldn't agree less but I respect your confidence
nah, the guy Ariana Grande dated from the band wanted looks like the male version of Cara
Cara delevigne looks like if Cara delevigne were a guy
12:17 YIKES that comment has not aged well
Imagine ur in a relationship, and she breaks up with you. You ask why and they say “I talked to a psychic on the phone and they told me we don’t belong together”
That one didn’t age quite so well
If someone is that dumb then I call that dodging a bullet.
The relationship part kinda hittin different these days
Kasamba is my favorite Dragon Ball character
You guys both make me so happy. You've gotten to that stage, for me anyways, where it's like a wee event when I see you've uploaded.
His shirt changed... Like, multiple times... Brilliant move.
this is why i cant give my friends tarot readings like if ur not brutally honest and in depth/specific about the interpretation theres literally no use, every "offical" tarot reading my friends have gotten have been like you will get good news and a family eventually like no SHIT
12:19 how ironic
💀
Funny how David was legit in hindsight.
Oof
In the end he had the last laugh
The “you’ve already gone a step in that direction” thing right out the gate got me,,, it’s like she knew u were bullshitting her Lol
I was so quiet during the phone calls, I wanted to make sure she knew it wasn’t fake.
@@DylansFilms1379 dude I read that wrong and read "good girl" first.. weird the shit outta me.
The talk with david must have been foreshadowing.😢
Hmmmm this guy doesn't seem right DIVORCE TIME.
Eddy said “I’m looking into your future and I see meatballs” as I’m warming up meatballs for lunch. Also I’m a lady so... you’re welcome I guess.
Where they good tho?
puffnisse no actually, they were very unpleasant.

damn. im sorry bout that chief. i hope u ate smthn better afterwards
"We want you to do something"
"Some sort of special"

The psychic was actually super accurate. You kept pushing the juggling thing, but what if you end up on SNL or something...and come on the knife meme. I'm totally convinced.
same
0:47 - eddy has been a judge since 2019 guys. no wonder he didn’t want a kangaroo court, him being such a seasoned judge
Dangit Gus, I literally spit out my drink when you said "I'm gonna pick up a fresh litter of kittens"
I like to think that when she says she’s “picking up knives” she doesn’t mean in a psychic way, she’s just genuinely confused as to why the keeps picking up and putting down knives.
I always hold my breath when they're on the phone even though I'm not in the room.
You forgot to ask the simple question, "is the government after me?"
"There's a man and a woman."
"Oh! I know a woman AND a man. She's good!"
Seriously lady? This appeals to everyone! Anyone can be vague, it doesn't make them a psychic.
Damn there's so much foreshadowing in this loved the duo but shit happens
12:12 this did not age well
yeah lmao
