Love this! Now I know what to do with all the “stringy” yarn in my stash! I’m also thinking this would be cool as a placemat or even a piece of wall art if you made it much larger! I am a huge fan of your engaging videos! Your patterns on Etsy are worth every penny! Thank you! 🧶
Thank you so much Michelle! I'm so happy you like it and I appreciate your support! It's perfect for that yarn in your stash! I'm actually making a placemat version right now and it could totally be a wall art too!
So pretty!! I love making coaster sets for all my family! Thank you for this awesome pattern, I have a TON of Lily Sugar and Cream in my stash, my favorite cotton yarn!
Love watching your video! Can you make video how to continue to crochet using new rolls of yarn? This happen when the yarn is not enough but the item not finish yet😂 really appreciate your help.
Since the texture is evenly around I found glasses are quite stable on them! Maybe if you used it for a champagne glass or something with a narrow base it could be questionable
Absolutely! Here's how'd you'd do that: *SC in the 1st ST, SK the next ST, [3 SC, CH 2, 3 SC] all into the next ST, SK the next ST, SC in the next ST*. Repeat ** all the way around.
Love, love, love these!!! Great tutorial! I made two for my beach home and they are so perfect. Thank you!

Absolutely! I do plan on doing more “how to crochet” videos soon so I’ll definitely be sure to do one about adding in a new skein of yarn!
@@TheTurtleTrunk will wait for the update!
Made these and they turned out so cute!!! I love your rings! Is there a link?
So happy you enjoyed the tutorial! My rings are from qalo.com and have the Geo and Bead silicone rings!
Thanks! They are so pretty!
Those are so pretty….but wouldn’t the texture make your glass/mug tipsy?
Since the texture is evenly around I found glasses are quite stable on them! Maybe if you used it for a champagne glass or something with a narrow base it could be questionable
@@TheTurtleTrunk ….that’s wonderful! Thank you!
would it be possible to do this with pointed border like the placemat?
Absolutely! Here's how'd you'd do that: *SC in the 1st ST, SK the next ST, [3 SC, CH 2, 3 SC] all into the next ST, SK the next ST, SC in the next ST*. Repeat ** all the way around.
thank you so so much! i can’t wait to try
hi will dk cotton yarn work for this
HI! Yes you can use a DK cotton, it's thinner than what I used though so you may want to make a few more increase rounds to make it larger.
