The Painting Process - Episode 8 | Allegory of the Flesh - Figurative Painting - With ACRYLICS

In this video (Episode 8) we will be looking at how I approached this classically inspired figurative painting titled "Allegory of the Flesh". I cover a traditional painting technique called Verdaccio along with practices that will certainly help bring any painting to life.
Often I see other artists sharing tutorials on achieving Realism with oils, but virtually none with Acrylics. I decided to start "The Painting Process" series as a way to share my techniques and provide the uniquely crafted approaches that I utilize for my own paintings. As I will show in this series it is possible to achieve a hi-level Realism without the use of oils, solvents, and 6 months to a year drying time...
