I’ve had this concert audio for a long long time. Didn’t know there was video. I was at this show (didn’t miss a Philly B-Boys show from Lollapalooza ‘94 up until the end). Thank you for sharing this. Btw, there a a ton of b-boys concerts floating out there. Probably have 40-50 shows. I’m still crushed by MCA’s death and the end of the B-Boys. Thanks for helping keep them alive.
I saw this 1998 Beastie Boys Tour in Detroit! What an honor it was to see this show! This was my first time seeing them and i was able to see them 2 more times. The 2nd being Field Day Fest in NY in 2003 and then one of their last tours in 2007 in Detroit. So glad I got to see them at least 3 times!
And everyone these days complain about people recording, this is pure gold thank you for the upload. In 25 years from now everyone will be warching the videos we take now
if I'm not mistaken, ATribeCQ opened for "The Boys" this show - I was soo fired tf up when it was "TIME to GET ILL" (I think they exploded onto the stage screaming it, and it was sooooo glorious!) One of their BEST shows - EVER! I've had the amazing privilege of seeing BB more than any other band, idek how it ended up this way, but I'm not mad at them. They put on some of the most killer live sets I've ever witnessed, and I'm somewhat of a connoisseur of live shows (baby groupie, LoL) I mean, to give it context/comparison : Pink Floyd, jammin' tf out. Mean guitar solos, 25 mins deep in "Comfortably Numb" Sun goes down (with their laser light show, just enveloping the entire sky around you!) Giant inflatable pigs, floating around the arena, crashing down "The Wall" and chills go down your spine when you even just reminisce about it killer sets!! Unreal. I'm sobbing right now as I type this, bc just knowing that were down one Beastie, MCA Forever, and may never have the privilege of seeing these cats live - ever again. Fucking saddest thing ever.

Alot of the beasties vocals were recorded with voice distortion, tracks such as The update and Bodhisattva vow to name but a few. You had to read the liner notes to comprehend fully what was being said. That took alot of courage in my opinion because most artist's egos would have them having their vocal as clear as possible in order for you to get their point of view, especially with the conscious lyrical message Yauch had in those songs.
This was the second time I saw Beasties live. I was 19. Such an amazing time. Don't know why I never thought to look this one up. Thanks for uploading.

I saw this very same show on the San Antonio,TX stop of the tour. Unbelievable. Rancid and Asian Dub Foundation opened the show that night as well, and smashed it too!
Was there and don't think I ever missed a Philadelphia show. Best of all had The Troc Pass the Mic tour or Licence to Ill Tour 1987 . All I can say is if you were there you know .

Are you kiddin me this is nasty as fuck thought I'd seen all the live shows on TH-cam. Mix master Mike is the best at throwing the different beats in and the boys are so smooth at adjusting to it.
