Testing out the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 with Moment Lenses. Apple gave us an awesome camera on this device and by simply adding some Moment lenses you can take it to the next level. We are stoked to be shooting with this phone + lenses.

Moment what camera do you use for the videos ? It looks so crisp
who gives a shit...? your products are garbage and you lie about how you support and back your products up. I complained because my lens mount tabs snapped off my case after only a few uses. You responded by deactivating and deleting my account... so fuck you and the horse you rode in on... I got better things to spend my money on. I really regret buying this anamorphic lens and the smartphone case... you cheap bastards!!!
Moment :: i bought ND filter 32 and i was trying to take picture with telephoto lens x2 . When i use iPhone 11 pro native camera App and facing sun !! The camera was blocked by the lens as the deep fusion starts to use the second lens of iphone and the photo was black?! Am i doing something wrong ? As i know that the ND filters also for photos not only video ?? The ND filter is blocking the second lens responsible for deep fusion.
I also bought the CPL lens and it doesn’t do any changes . I plugged it directly to the mount and another time i plugged it with ND 32 and no difference. As per the video , rolling the CPL should dim the light ?? I don’t see any changes ??! What is wrong guys ?
@@kareemebaid I know nothing about iPhones as I've never owned one. However, you need to go into your camera settings and modify them so the new external filters will work. Shutter speed and aperture openings are the settings you need to change. I am not certain whether or not you can do that with an iPhone. look at the camera settings and find out what kinds of settings are included.
Another potential problem is your ISO speed settings. This pertains to film speed. If yours is set to 100, increase the film speed to 400 and try again. You should get different results.
There are too many different settings and setting variations to offer any definitive solution. You need to explore your smartphone camera settings and learn how to change them accordingly. If you want to keep your settings at 100 or 200 ISO speed, then you need to modify the shutter speed to a much slower setting. In which case, use of a tripod is strongly recommended. I wish I could give you more, but I'm not privy'd to iPhone settings since I don't own nor use them. I refuse to because I hate them. Good Luck!!

photographically, they are 100% correct... There actually is no arguing. photographers will understand without needing this video, so it is only for amateurs or beginners. Lower aperture on the narrow and wide angle sensor means lower ISO's while filming/shooting and less grainy footage, as well as more accurate colors... you add a moment lens on there to increase field of view, or native magnification... and it is just gravy on top. still an unbeatable accessory if video quality is your goal.

Moment quick question: are y’all filming 24 frames per sec when using the anamorphic lens footage and slow it down? Or filming 60 frames per sec? When the footage looks slow with the anamorphic? Thanks for the answer in advance. Awesome video as usual
I can see more light and sharpness in image focus area by using moment wide lens but the edge distortion is noticable. Hope for next version wide lens can do much better

Having a complete set of Moment(s) - Macro, Super-fish, 18mm (V2), 58mm and Anamorphic - this is the BEST video Moment has produced in a long time - very informative for one who has just upgraded from a iPhone 6S+ to a iPhone 11 Pro ! I purchased the 11 Pro for the Super-wide (0.5x) option; if I'd seen this video prior to making that purchase, I'd have saved $ 500.00 and gotten the iPhone 11. Moment lenses continue to knock it out of the ball park ! Kudos to the Moment Team !

Moment has some real legit quality , and you can witness that on your own .
The quality of anamorphic lens is so real and the cinematic shots you can achieve using it is a gift in itself . I believe Moment lenses going to change the smartphone photography and videography .

I got the notification for the shipment of the Bio Case, which is late from what was expected even compared to what they acknowledged was an initial delay. Waiting for the other case though.

By the way, last day I had some issue with the moment app, all the photos I shot with the app for a few minutes, never made it to my camera roll, and were lost! Have you had that bug? After that I had to stop using it, because didn’t want that to happen again! I was using the iPhone 11 Pro Max

I tried it in the Apple store with my moment lens and couldn’t quite tell the difference but man this video really shows the quality difference between the 2 sensors. Especially in low light.
Having said that, the convenience of not needing to carry extra lenses is appealing. But I think I’ll still be using the moment for a few more years. At least until Apple makes all the sensors equal.

Very interesting. Good to know about the differing apertures. Making me reconsider upgrading from a iPhone 8 Plus for the camera because the iPhone 8 Plus wide angle is 1.8 as well.

I love Monet lens products. I have the 18mm and I use it commercially. The iPhone ultra wide angle lens only works when there is a considerable amount of light. While it is a fantastic 13mm lens, and I absolutely love it, it pales in comparison to the main camera which is a 1.8 aperture. That is the camera that you want to mount a lens to, as well as the 2.0 tele camera. I own the iPhone 11 Max and I have already pre-ordered the new Moment case.
I’m interested to see how to get portrait mode with 58mm moment mounted on 2x 11 pro lens. That’s effectively 138mm equiv portrait lens which is used quite often in SLR cameras
My guess is that it'd be the same as the past couple iPhones. Since Apple relies on multiple lenses to get depth information in order to produce portrait mode, you can't use that feature with attached lenses, since your'e covering the other camera. Pixel 2 can do it though, since they handle portrait mode with a single lens. I've dealt with this trade-off this year and switched back and forth a couple times :P Pixel 2, I could do portrait mode with my Moment lenses, but on iPhone XS, I could put the Anamorphic on the 2x lens and get bigger flares. Ultimately decided to stick with the iPhone.
@@NateCow manually adjusting the focus on the tele/on/tele could get you fairly close, but you will never get the iphone "portrait' look without some post production. As you mentioned, apple relies on multiple camera input to produce that effect. Essentially... phone sensors still can't beat actual cameras with 1.8 aperture prime lenses in real world scenarios.
Hey moment team - something I've noticed when watching these videos is that the anamorphic on the 11 looks super soft along the edges.
I have a 6s (lol) so it way be a weird crop/evolution thing that just looks out of proportion to my eye, but I was wondering what thoughts/fixes or suggestions yall had, or if I should just wait for my eye doctor appointment. Cheers and keep it up, love y'all and your product :)

It’s not as romantic as you think. You’re still only stuck with a hyper-oversharpened 12MP cell phone camera with a teensy little sensor.
Better.. way better, actually, to get a small mirror less camera and a couple fast prime lenses. Your photography will skyrocket.
Also: shooting video with a cellphone is majorly frustrating - especially when someone calls you in the middle of the best shot of your life. Oh, and the electronic stabilization goes SUPERJELLO when a 3rd party lens is on.
Love Moment, cellphones still suck, and Epstein didn’t kill himself.

Great video! I love your lenses, I have all except the macro, (soon) and they work beautifully on my iPhone11 pro max. So regarding RAW, what app would you recommend for processing RAW? So far I haven’t found any good ones for the iPhone. This includes Lightroom and raw power, Snapseed is ok, but no noise reduction option. Any info would be appreciated.
Agreed. The ultra wide lens that comes on the iPhone is sometimes cool. But it degrades the photo quality so I rarely use it. Also it distorts the picture naturally because it’s so wide

Hello! I would like to buy a lens for my iphone pro max for real estate videos, but I’m not sure which one to get. I really like the flares that the moment anamorphic lens adds, but I dont like the black bars at the top and bottom of the video for real estate. Also normally the homes will be well lit when I am shooting the video. I already got the filmic pro app and the dji 4 gimbal. Would really appreciate your thoughts. Love the products but still waiting on my Preordered Filmmaker case for iPhone 11 Pro Max. Haven’t been able to use my lens’s since 10-12-2019!
