It was the western religions (Christianity) and Islam that have erased and opressed the sexual and gender diversity in Africa where transgenders and homosexuality was accepted in many cases. If Africa wants to escape the western influence, that has to start by removing religion and european cultural morals from the early XX century. Africa must embrace their culture, original languages and scripts, and stop repropagating the western christian or islamic values. Black people should know better what discrimination feels like, so why do they oppress homossexuals? People who are born that way and don't care about your lives, they are no harm to anyone?
