as cute as the vid is the bird obviously didnt discover their own feet, birds love to peck at their feet for a lot of reasons, some like infections or bumblefoot, or dry weather which then you have to moisturize their feet with coconut oil :)
My mom loved these little guys, she had a bunch of them she called them Binkers because of the sound they make, if you have a bunch of them they make quite the racket. Sure miss you mom you and your Binkers.

Oh how adorable ! My Gramma had oodles of finches. They were so sweet. We had a couple that were paired up and having babies ! There was one totally pitch black one, "Crow" who was my favorite. Every morning they got their cages cleaned and baths and I loved their little animated dances. Very sweet little birds.

I LOVE birds! When I was a little girl, we had finches and we would let them fly around freely. They knew to go to their cage in the evening to be covered up for bed. We had ten or so at a time. It was fun and no one else in the neighborhood had birds so we were the fun house to come over to. That was kinda cool. ❤️💜💚
