At 4:44, the white building on the left is a B&B my wife and I stayed in two summers ago. The balcony on the 2nd floor was our room. We loved Chimney Rock. This is heartbreaking.

There are all kinds of crews from all over USA as well as Canada, working to rebuild our power grid, our roads, moving the downed trees, reaching remote areas, etc.. Today I met a woman from Ohio and a bunch of guys from PA

I live 2 miles from Lake Lure and it took them a week to get my power on! I was shocked! I had power lines all over my back yard and the road I live on was a disaster! I really believed we would be without power for at least 3 weeks! Thank you to the linemen! They sacrifice so much and they work like super hero’s!

Why did you edict out the pickup truck waving the American flag? Aside from that, you did an excellent interview with this unsung hero. God bless him, his family, all the utility workers and their families. I pray they are all kept safe. God bless all the good people in North Carolina and the other states hit so hard. I pray that neighbors-helping-neighbors will get everyone quickly back on their feet and all of these communities rebuilt in record time.
