Viscaria SUPER ALC Review | Blade Comparison

- This video reviews the Viscaria Super ALC. Tai (Green) and I (Black) compare it to the normal Viscaria and LYJ SZLC. We used Dignics 09c on the forehand and Tenergy 05 on the backhand throughout the review. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.

It is the case that both players are using their regular Viscaria and the Lin Super stroke mechanisms to test the new blade, stroke mechanisms specialized to their specific blades. This results in accurate conclusions of how these stroke mechanisms function when applied to the new blade. As such, these understandings are helpful.
The next generation of reviews would be from those of the traditional Viscaria camp (and their traditional Viscaria adapted stroke mechanisms) to an extended period of usage time with the new Super, allowing for the stroke mechanism adaption to the new blade. From this, conclusions may be drawn in comparison of matched traditional Viscaria blade/traditional Viscaria blade stroke mechanisms and the Super blade/Super blade stroke mechanism as adapted and developed.

Amazing review! My opinion is pretty much the same as yours. And I'm gonna stick with the super. I enjoy the flatter curve and the DHS W968 feel, which makes me want to loop harder and harder.

What viscaria super alc is your using? Is that CS or the FL or ST thanks
"I am glad that I watched your review of this super ALC blade because I have one and I am struggling with FH topspin. I feel like it's not secure when someone returns my spin with an underspin chop because it hits the net about 50% of the time since it doesn't curve. So basically, it's a challenge for me to use my whole body with extra effort to make it go through the net. I literally failed because of my rubber, but your explanation shed light on the issue. I wonder if you know of any safer blade that you could suggest for me."

Love the review. I own both versions of Viscaria and I'm not a big fan of the new one. As you were saying, the ball trajectory is quite flat, not much of a spin machine, it's pretty direct. And quite heavy for my tasting.
Its been 1 week since a got mine and i’m still struggling with fh loop against backspin and bh loop in general 😅

If you are considering super alc blades get a Zhou qihao hyper ary-c 90 or a Felix Crypto Carbon instead, imo better blades than Vis super alc

Please review the FZD SALC too. I think it's different thickness than the OLD Viscaria SALC
Seems like S-Viscaria could be good for tacky rubber for forehand.
Lin SZLC vs ZK SZLC, how they differ from Viscaria SALC. Lin SZLC might be quite similar to ZK SZLC except in weight and few other factors, still it will be nice to have the detailed comparison.

Handle is like a normal viscaria, a bit more square than my LYJ

I’ve never tried the Lin Gao Yuan
My first impression on Visca super the speed is more than regular you must have a good control and technique, in the other hand lin alc is more easy to you use and had more control even for the first time i use it. Go for lin alc if you want a blade with enough speed and good control, take visca super if you want more speed that require a good technique and control from you
As far as i use lin gaoyuan alc is the most soft, more control than the visca, timo but had same speed like both

I think the term is "throw angle". It looks like the Super has a really low angle which would give it a smaller margin of error.

I don't understand how you can say they are both similar. I played with both and the original viscaria is a lot stiffer and unforgivable! The super had a lot more flex and control.
Strange. He has completely opposite experience during the test play. I’m going to buy the super though because straight low to net ball looks so damn beautiful (like a bullet).
