ok ive been sturggling to learn UE5 for a while now, trying to find a good tutorial source on enviornments for my film projects. and your vids have been a life saver! thank you so much for making them. easy to follow no fluff, very clear and simple. mixing this with aftereffects will be fun! is there one of your tutorials to change the scene to night? would be cool to make this one nighttime! thank you
At the very end you were moving the directional light and suddenly the environment changed with a soft light look that you didn’t explain how to achieve… what happened there? Thank you!
So, I tweaked the exposure in the post process, the indirect lighting intensity in the skylight (of the hdri backdrop) and the intensity of the hdri. Basically a whole lot of tweaking involved. The lighting setup and components remain the same though. I could send you some lighting settings screenshots of what I used via email. Let me know!
Let's start by upgrading to AM5, getting a 128gb kit of 8800MT/s dual channel and a 4090. That's all you need. No big deal, it's not that expensive. Everyone has that kinda money right now. The economy is great under Kamala and Biden. They're doing such a great job.
mate I'm from a country with not so great economy as well, you don't need AM5, 128GB RAM or 4090 I'm doing this on 32GB and 3060, gpu is not performing extremely well but it does the job 😂
Yeah, I used the simple wind megascan trees for tutorial purposes, as they are optimized. But you could swap them out with the pivot painter versions to get higher quality wind! Appreciate the feedback 🍻
1st lets go!! love your vids man

The trees creaking like a clock tik was very unrealistic and unsettling plus the warping camera lense. But i liked everything else!
Hey, yeah those are the simple wind megascan trees.
amazing bro, you wanna help doan animation for a shortfilm?
Why is the tree moving weird?

It's funny because while I agree with the sentiment of your comment, you just perfectly described my computer. Lol
