Here is my review of the Ferris fw15. I go over why I like it and what I don’t. I also compare the toro turf master with this. It seemed like the only mower comparable to this one.

I have a similar set up. No trailer and trying to keep it simple. Currently my Tmemaster does not seem to be powerful enough. I don't really want to get a stand on mower, so this may be a good option. I need to go to the dealer and check it out.
I couldn’t be happier with it. I’ve had it for 4 years and haven’t had a problem. It’s very strong and it is easy to work on. I like the huge engine and 32” cut.
I just got this one about a week ago and use it twice. It has a really good cut. Has a ton of power. Way too much power for just a regular small lawn. Takes some getting use to as far as maneuvering also it has a very strong transmission it pulls pretty good. I got the one with the casters. I don’t see this mower having any problems cutting any grass. I’m gonna get the mulch kit though. This thing flings grass like crazy! Not a good thing for smaller lawns. Overall though I would highly recommend this mower. Has a ton of power easy to maneuver just takes some getting use to also I love the height adjustment and reverse it has already been useful

I might be sold on this, I do a lot of landscaping design and planting and I like to mow lawns as a way to keep the schedule full and for customer acquisition so I am not looking to get a huge mowing setup but I want to do quality work and I run my mowing trailerless
I do lawmcare on the weekends and I use my F150 with a bed cap. I was wondering if it was going to fit in the back. What I was really hoping is that the handles would fold down like they do on the Honda HTX mowers.
I have a 2001 Nissan Frontier with a truck topper on it. The handles stick out the back but it works great. The topper door has to be held up. The f150 is much bigger than my truck so it might work fine. The handles are held down by bolts so they can be taken out but it won’t be quick

Awesome! I really want to get the casters. I think it would make to mower a lot easier to maneuver and use. Glad you like it! I think I might get a second one, but this one will be with the casters
How can you adjust the walking speed? I am older and I still want to walk, but not run to keep up with a mower. I could get a tractor for that money. Thanks, Bob
What I have been doing is tilting it to the side and using a funnel to catch it. The drain plug is not in a good spot to easily change the oil. I think there are some good tools to change it more easily but my method has been working well.
You steer manually. Lift up the front wheels and move it where you want it to go. They have the mower with caster wheels on the front which would make this a lot easier
They don’t use one for this model. I talked to a representative and said that they actually welded one on and it worked. They don’t use it for this mower. It would be awesome though
That’s what I want to get FW-15 I have EGO 21 inches I have the new ones 7.5 amp battery 🔋 It never bugged or having issues not cut or stop the mower:) has plenty power :) only I have couple problems :( 1. The mower is too lite :( 2. the mower is too small :( 3. A problem with the batteries it freezes or won’t charge and won’t last that long with 7.5 A only 5000 ft.² yards you can cut:( if you have Beautiful grass if not you can mow 7,000sqf yard:) 4. I have fescue grass I cut like 4.5 inches :) and when I cut the grass front wheels Digs or pushing the grass in and on second day that grass raise up and you can see the stripes tall :( 5. The mower it’s sow light one pass can float on top of the grass second pass can go down with the same settings you can see the difference :( 6. The mower is so tiny I have 1600 square-foot yard it’s taking me 1.5 hour to finish with one pass if I’m doing double pass takes over two hours :( and you have to do a double pass because of those stripes :( because of the tiny wheels digs that grass in :( and it doesn’t have an enough suction to suck the grass back out with the blades :( 7. Not enough RPMs or not enough vacuum to lift the grass up from the ground. :( 8. The bottoms for self propel the mower it’s too tiny and end of the cutting your yard you have hands Sort they’re too tiny and you have to squeeze your hands tight :( EGO Mower they need to fix dthese issues :(

Yeah I agree! I ended up making a chute block cause you are right. It flings grass around like crazy. I love it

What are the height adjustment increments? Does it only have 1", 2", 3", 4" 5", or does it have 1/2" and 1/4" increments?
It’s just 1”-8”. Super easy lifting though.

How is turning it while cutting? Does it go left or right, or do you have to use energy to turn it yourself?
It’s ok. You have to turn it yourself. If you get the one with caster wheels in the front it will be much easier. I wish I had the caster wheels
I got a snapper 32 sw15 love it with caster wheel no problems with it

There is a lever from 1-4 on the handle of the mower. 1 is slow and 4 is the fastest. Just set this and then the mower will only go that speed

Oil extractor vac from harbor freight works excellent, no mess, quick and easy made by holt industries. .this mower does not have an oil filter.

My next mower. Waiting for hopefully a larger fuel tank. My commercial 21 has a 1 gallon tank. This is just over 1/2 gallon

Well the Ferris is really powerful! It is heavy too. I think you’d like it a lot!
