The heavens opened and I forgot the Haribo! Could we complete the parkrun with this inauspicious start? Of course we could, Iona's a tough cookie. Despite this being after two days of cycletouring to bring us to the University of Northampton parkrun and torrential rain the whole way round, she finished in style with a smile as always. It was great to see so many tourists who recognised Iona and encouraged her on the way round and a massive thanks to the Vidlers, "Funky Legging Family", who'd brought homemade cake for us to enjoy at the finish. We had a fantastic time of parkfaff with them after at the Workbridge Cafe too. As you can tell, for the time being Iona is continuing her tourism streak, today was her "Dalmation Run" 101 parkruns at 101 venues now completed. The GoPro seems to have distorted the footage more than normal. I’m going to have a play with the settings to see if I can work out why or whether the rain affected it!
