i've had one on the upper right side 3 teeth away from the middle about the size of a pea ...it did hurt that much... and it literally popped on its own whilst I was driving... The pea sized abscess squirted out whitish fluid.. I pushed the remaining area with my finger until just normal red blood came out... There's still no pain at all ... I came home and brushed my teeth.. Do i need any meds or shall i just rinse my mouth out with salt water etc..???

While drinking water in a public transport someone bounce my water bottle against the tooth. Causing great pain. Went to a regular doctor who gave me an antibiotic and painkillers, which have not been working. I have an appointment to see my dentist. Bu has only just noticed the abscess on my tooth.
