I'm glad you went back to buy it. You could tell the way he kind of tossed it back into the display, that he wasn't happy to hear, 'I'll think about it'.
Considering setting up as a vendor at a show to sell some of my collection. How well does 90s stuff sell at shows? Like Kobe, MJ and other HOFers. Should I expect to get Ebay comps for high dollar cards?
I would say it depends on how rare it is. There are likely collectors that will pay at comp or close to comp because seeing the card is person is a lot better than evaluating it online, waiting for it to show up, etc.
Hey there! I am a long time listener of the Podcast and just subbed to the TH-cam channel. I'm really enjoying it so far. I mainly collect Yankees stuff but I am a big Knicks fan. Have been since 1982-83. I have never really collected Knicks stuff aside from Patrick Ewing and bobbleheads. One of my goals for 2024 has been to start putting together a Topps Knicks team set from 1971 (my birth year) to the last year they put out cards. What would you say is the NBA flagship set since Topps stopped producing basketball cards? I also wanted to add to my Ewing PC and start a Brunson PC. I will keep watching your channel and listening to your podcast. Keep up the great work. When I saw that Richie Guren card at 15 bucks I almost fainted lol
Thanks for checking out the channel! I would say Hoops or Donruss is probably your best shot for a flagship set, but there will be some gaps with those sets. Panini made a set in the early basketball years called "Panini." If I were you, I would grab those and then switch to Hoops once they started making that.
Have you ever set up at a sports card show? Here are some things you might consider!

He probably hears that a lot. He's always been very kind and fair to me though!
Good stuff, nice seeing you as always 👍
Good seeing you and thanks for heads up about Orlando event
Howdy brother! I am just getting back into the hobby, live about 30 minutes from this show! Thanks for the video I am excited to check it out soon!
If you Google Florida sports card shows, there is a website that lists them all by state. I've found it to be pretty accurate. Hope that helps!

Looks like shows in NJ. Almost everyone charging high prices for cards
At some point something has to give! A lot of the dealers are still very fair though. Thanks for watching!
How often you go to this show?
I usually go to this one every month. But there are very similar shows the other weeks as well.
@@waxmuseumpodcastI need the Vinatieri card out of the Sam Jones graded box! 😂😂
@@conner415 I recognize them from every show but don't remember their handle. It's a father and son that sets up together.
