Just from what I can tell football does extremely well in the discord. 50 plus section I can almost get 85-95% everytime especially if it’s the right players. I’d really consider. A lot of strouds and Richardson and any QBs that are liquid are easy to sell in there. Just from my experience might help you get more profit.
Dear Kyle, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to discuss a recent comment you left on this TH-cam channel. While I appreciate all forms of engagement and feedback, your comment came across as rather uninformed and insensitive. It's important to remember that behind every video and comment, there are real people who put in time and effort. Comments that are dismissive or derogatory don't contribute positively to the community we're trying to build. I encourage you to reconsider the tone and content of your comments in the future. Constructive criticism is always welcome, but it should be delivered respectfully and thoughtfully. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to more meaningful interactions in the future. Back to the tax I looked into it even more with a tax agent: the rule is that you must have a receipt to have a cost basis, if you do not have a receipt that is itemized (which must have the card itself, not just the transaction), is is not valid for a deduction since these are considered capital gains
This may be true but I hopefully won’t get audited to begin with as I will pay my fair share. And from talking with those in the card space, it hasn’t been an issue
Gladly I don't sell any of my collection.. only thing i sell is the Base card scraps people buy to complete a set!! i cant part ways with a lot of my cards..
I am an eagles fan! Tips for ebay would be just to make sure to have all the important info in the title and nothing excess. As well as good pictures especially on raw cards.
Hi I get where your coming from but I have a few points to make. First I agree, the profit margin in this video was not great. But in your case if digging in boxes, you have to factor in your time to get to and from the show, the time to dig for the cards themselves, the money for gas, food, and admission into the show. As well as the time to individually sell each card. I am to sell multiple cards at a time so by moving many I can roll over my inventory as quick as possible. And while your method is a great one for you, it is unrealistic for me as I cannot go to shows as often as I would like. I do almost all my business at home while on my phone or computer.
Obvious clickbait title! At the end you said you SOLD $3950. Then you said you MADE $294. Made is what you profit and/or pocket to keep. I just wonder how much lower that made total will drop after subtracting shipping fees and taxes. Just be honest and people will trust and respect you more.
Shipping and fees were included in that 294 figure and taxes will mostly end around 20%. Apologies for the “clickbait.” “Made” was used to refer to revenue not profit. And I agree, trust and respect are the #1 things to building relationships in this hobby (and life) and are so important! Hope this clears things up
Amazing sales! What a week!
thanks!
I like your card taste lol
Appreciate it bro
Awesome video
Thanks!

Yeah football has always seemed to be more liquid, I just don’t know it as well. Thanks for the insight
When mommy and daddy give you money to buy cards. It’s easy to profit
This is the second time you’ve commented this on my videos in 2 months so clearly you’re a fan. Appreciate the support my guy!

Nice profit on the Brunson card.
Thanks!
Great videos! Keep it up!
Thanks!
wow this is impressive. Just curious where you purchase your cards? Is it all from ebay?
Appreciate it! I buy most of my cards off of instagram and discord. Not off eBay unless it’s for pc.
@@matthewscardboard thanks i might decide to give it a shot. Keep up the work!
Yo I love your vids and I have a question how do you sell so frequently on eBay with low end cards? And are you a Philly fan becuase me to go 🦅
I am an eagles fan! Tips for ebay would be just to make sure to have all the important info in the title and nothing excess. As well as good pictures especially on raw cards.
Honestly, your margins are way too low. I’m making $20 profit on $10 cards from value boxes I don’t think $10 on a card over $50 is worth it.

So how much did you actually profit and how long did it take ?
As stated in the end of the video it’s the $294 figure over the last week
@@matthewscardboard and how many hours?
Of total work to list, ship, package, and buy. I’d say around 1-5.
