  • Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is used to encourage healing and reduce inflammation. As a concentrated source of autologous platelets, PRP contains several growth factors and other cytokines that can stimulate the healing of soft tissues
    CELLGENIC PRP is composed of sterile disposable tubes, butterfly needle, transfer devices and syringes, packaged in a single-use double blister.
    Utilizing a cell separator gel allows for the easy, rapid and consistent preparation, from a small volume of blood, of A-PRP with an optimal platelet concentration and viability.

    Which anticoagulant do you use? I've seen normally light blue tubes. I can see you are sucking the whole plasma, Which means platelet poor plasma. Only the interfase (lowe 1/3 of supernatant) corresponds to PRP.

    Can be used with prf

    Hello stem cells group. How long did you let the tubes sit before centrifuging the tubes?

    my name is Dr Anthony from Tanzania, sorry i would like to know in countries in Africa, what are simple instruments can i use to obtain good platelets, because i don't have money to buy all those sets even my patients couldn't afford. I would like very much to help them especially the chronic wounds.

      Anthony mvungi ... use regular yellow top tubes or turquoise top tubes. The rest is the same. Activate with couple drops of calcium chloride. I offer this tech at a reduced rate with similar results

      That's so simple and useful, we do that with our method and very easy. th-cam.com/video/jagaU4Zg3tM/w-d-xo.html

      Get a technician to modify a blender machine base for you. It makes a decent centrifuge. Simple

    What a joke! All the platelets are left in the bottom of the test tube sample! He's using PPP! Amazing how so called "experts" have no clue how to do this procedure!

      So the way it is shown here is not completely right ?
      I just bought me one machine pretty expensive
      What is the right way.
      PRP for hair is different then the PRP for skin care. Unless I'm completely not understanding. Any info would help 🙏🏽

    Hey you should rename this to platelet poor plasma

      But why??

    • @bonefixer4588
      @bonefixer4588 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because this is not prp, prp is the middle layer, it should look cloudy. Top layer that separates is PPP

    • @DD-OO
      @DD-OO 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bonefixer4588 you are wrong. The middle layer, the cloudy color, is the Buffy coat, not used in PRP.

    Uhhh thats not PRP, lol. Thats "Platelet poor plasma". You'll need to spin the plasma in a centrifuge a 2nd time to separate out the PRP. Who do these people think they're fooling?

    • @wallet01
      @wallet01 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      could you tell me how to extract prp out of ppp?

    • @__-pl3jg
      @__-pl3jg 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@wallet01 Im not a doctor and this is NOT medical advice. However, this is the basic method I know...
      - Draw blood into yellow top vacutainer tube which contains Acid Citrate Dextrise (ACD). 8.5ml is most common tube size.
      - Draw 2 tubes worth of blood because you'll need a counter balance in the centrifuge. You can also use a tube filled with an equal volume of water as a counter balance weight in the centrifuge.
      - Spin in centrifuge at 3800rpm for at least 1.5min.
      - Use pipette to draw off the platelet poor plasma being careful not to touch the other layers.
      - Using pipette or syringe, transfer the PPP to another vacutainer tube.
      - Spin in centrifuge at 3800rpm for 5min.
      - Use syringe to extract the PRP layer.

    • @samimohammad8628
      @samimohammad8628 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're 100% right, but i can't understand why most doctors don't continue the procedure and only stick with 1st spin with poor plasma.

    • @__-pl3jg
      @__-pl3jg 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@samimohammad8628 - I believe the reason is because there are plenty of systems available that can be purchased by doctors and labs that prepare PPP in a completely closed and therefore sterile setup. Companies like "Regenlab" cleverly advertise their products with the name PRP but dont use it as an acronym. So you may purchase their system thinking you're getting PRP when in fact you're not.....Most doctors are just buying these closed system kits. But there are far fewer if any closed system setups for PRP.
