Looking forward to your year update video. Just interviewed for my nursing informatics specialist job nervous to hear back. I currently work bedside in my dream unit but feel burnt out from working bedside
Very random but as a nurse informatics do you ever have direct patient care, maybe in teaching patients how to use the patient portal via their phones

Hey! Congrats! I hope it works out! I totally understand the feeling of burn out. I do not have direct patient care at all. I mainly deal the nurses and the doctors. But that goes for my institution. It could be different elsewhere. If you still enjoy patient care you can always pick up a per diem. 😊
