I feel like there will eventually be a video where the lore summary takes up 95% of the runtime, and it just ends with "Oh yeah, the game is good, too."
And I'd still watch every second.

In all fairness, we all knew the American Wasteland you was always gonna be the best one of the bunch, for he was the one to tame the ways of evil into something good. He channelled the aura of destruction that Knoxville brought into the equation by conducting his own acts of wanton destruction, albeit for the greater good of society via the Skate Ranch.

Great video all around! I’m saddened by the decision not to mention Demoness from THPS3 considering she was the inventor of the Anti-Christ Air. With such a dangerous trick having the power of splitting timelines I was sure there’d be mention of the origin of it. I do understand needing to trim the edges when piecing together this Iliad of skateboarding

The year is 3021. Humanity has been all but forgotten. All the remains is a single USB drive that an alien race had managed to salvage. Back on their home planet, they load up this video, hoping to find some sort of evidence of human life. The first recording is broadcasted throughout the planet. Holographs of the video start to pop up everywhere; from street corners to the dark skies of the planet. Watching this video, they are in awe at the footage. The concept of points, the god-like group of the Band Of Hawk, and Jackass. By god, Jackass.
Tears fill their faces as they discover not only life but the history of the universe itself. What took humanity eons to figure out, they now possess in the palm of their hand. What started as them just watching the flash drive out of an innate curiosity, soon turned to them kneeling in respect to the gods that led humanity into the age of points. The cult of the board would soon rise up, as skateboards become common household objects used for worship and prayer tradition. A new age of skateboarding has been ushered in, and with it, the rise of points as a currency.
Video games soon take the form of history books, with Tony Hawk Pro Skater being equal to that of the Bible. Chrono Trigger is discarded and trashed, used only as a paperweight at best. Eric Sparrow becomes that to the devil, with evil skaters being warned that if they misbehave, they will descend into hell where Eric Sparrow watches over them. In bed, a young alien prays to Tony Hawk, begging for the new day to let him pass the trials of playing through these historic monuments of games, to prove himself worthy of wielding a skateboard.

You forgot one fact in the story: Before you can get a chance to try and cross the timeline you had to prove yourself hence “Proving Grounds”. In order to get back you have to gain the skills to prove you can be trusted with the legacy of Skateboarding. You have to rig your own skatetopia not for paradise but to push yourself beyond your limits. This self challenge takes a hardcore level of training. But once you have reclaimed your pro skills, you challenged Eric once more and won. But when you finally have mastered the three paths of skateboarding, you realize you are not the one who can truly bring skateboarding to the future. Only Tony Hawk can do that. but you need to take care of one problem: Eric. So when you return and punched Eric you returned the mantle back to Tony and you went back to your proving grounds to keep what remains of Eric in check.

41:58 I think there’s a bit more to it than just “Downhill Jam is about a dead Tony of the Hawk”.
I mean, it IS, but still.
Stepping out of the lore for a second, if I remember correctly, the downhill jam sections were always the real life Tony Hawk’s favorite part of the pro skater games. It makes sense, then, why a realm comprised of these challenges would await Tony of the Hawk on the other side. This _is_ his “personal Skatetopia”, after all, a place where all skaters can be free to live out their best lives, created just for Tony. A place where not only can skating thrive and all, let alone those who partake are happy, but where Tony of the Hawk can enjoy a more simple pleasure of just doing what he loves.

    "To the esteemed Professor McBumbles,
I write to you with great gratitude regarding your teachings on the history of skateboarding, points, and the war between Tony of the Hawk and Bam Margera. It was a truly fascinating period of my life to see you present your research and teachings in front of us all. Though, there have been two things that caught my eye as I sat through it all.
In your seminar regarding the history of creation you mentioned that 'bailing' would lose humanity points and that resulted due to negative actions. Would it be reasonable to assume that JACKASS's method of accruing points would fall under the same umbrella? After all, based on the footage you've provided, many of the stunts they've pulled off were cruel, unusual, and at times literally bailing to hurt oneself to earn/lose those points. The same could apply to this offshoot subculture of skateboarding I've been studying as of recent, the Hall of Meat ceremonies in the SKATE sub-timeline. Though, that would beg the question as to whether or not that subculture is like JACKASS or if it's an honorary sort of thing, as if to pay respect to the pain.
But one other thing that's interested me the most is the outlook of the past both Tony and Bam share post-THUG. They share this...theme, this common trait of wanting to go back to the way things were. In the THUG2 timeline, Bam keeps resetting it over and over to relive the high of the destruction of Skatopia. In the THPS HD and GB/GBA timelines, he tries to go back to when things were better and as you've stated, let the evils of the world and his murder of Bam ruin his precious memories, resulting in the THPS5 timeline. And when Tony entrusted the American Wasteland version of us the power to fix skateboarding for good, we create the world of THPS 1+2, yet allow Tony to retain his memories and knowledge.
You have said so yourself, an important facet of humanity is that we can never go back and can only move forward. In doing so, we risk destroying everything that makes us who we are. It's true that THPS-1+2 could count as a brand new future, much like how Super Mario Galaxy created a whole new universe with its own Big Bang. However, I've been thinking about this comparison between all timelines, and... While I can't speak for Tony, Bam, and every single one of us, I think I can understand the connecting tissue here.
All of us are subject to the whims of nostalgia, of the good ol' days, of the times when we didn't have to worry about our deeper-rooted issues. It is one of the first things we resort to when fleeing from ourselves and our problems. We, Tony, and Bam all have a love for skating, some more than others. As proven in the THPS 1+2 timeline, all we want to just skate. To quote the legendary bards that make Goldfinger, we're all trying to keep the ground on our feet because it seems that the world is falling around us. The nights are all long as we try to sing this song to try and make all the answers more than just 'Maybe.' But we're all so confused about what to do, that sometimes we just want to throw it all away.
As we're growing older all the time and looking older all the time, we tend to feel younger in our minds as we march on forward. It's scary, but we must. We can only move forward by taking the lessons learned from our mistakes in the past and cherishing the memories that made them so...memorable.
Like Tony of the Hawk, I, like many others, have to keep holding on to what I am, pretending I'm a Superman.
    Sincerely,
    Some Skater"
