100% agree! But what if they did some custom hollow grind on the Atom in Magnacut. That might be cool, right?

When I saw the email for the hollow ground N2's I was floored. I'm not in love enough (or have the financial situation, heh) to go for it, but I fully respect and love what they're doing with their lineup! Still finding ways to keep it fresh, even as they just try to keep up with demand of their current stuff.

I like what TRM is doing and they have a nice lineup. But man i wish they would really go away from Liners and do solid milled titanium scales instead.. Thx Rob!!

Yeah, some folks will agree and some wont. They are doing a flipper with caged bearings, so maybe.

@zbaird3 interesting comment… so explain your assumption of me and why custom and other high end knife makers do it all the time, carbonizing the end of the lock bar that engages the tang of the blade. Are there other ways?
Sure but steel bar inserts and milling for them requires certain parameters that limit certain creativities in knife makers, depending upon the custom knife maker. Can that be over come with planning and a base frame. Yes, but not for all customs. My McNees works great, too.
Just for the record you assumed I preferred Ti liners. Where exactly did I say that? I prefer a well made knife… it is the reason why I like TRM, McNees, Spartan, Koenig, Trevor Burger, Holt Bladeworks, Chris Reeve Knives, etc.

No worries. I love a good discussion and never take offense. I do love to discuss. I think of the proverb… as iron sharpens iron… that’s how swords and knives were sharpened in ancient days and in good modern dialogue! 😉🤜💥🤛🫡🤓
