In the Novus Ordo Rite, the Mass no longer lifts Jesus's sacrifice to the Father in worship, but lifts the community celebrating the Mass to the Father.
The words of consecration are present, but the Divine Sacrifice seems to take a back seat to the self focused community affirmations.
May we always remember our worthiness is ONLY attained by Christ's cleansing blood and the acceptance of His sacrifice, not by us but by the Father. 🙏✝️🙏
