    Almost all great guitar players can blow minds with specific licks, then they lost their mojo the more you listen to them. Then there's Matteo, it doesn't matter how much I listen to him and see him play he always blows my mind.

      Exactly, I discovered him like 3 years ago, and every time I listen to his music or see him play, it still blows my mind.

      His style atually makes more sense tbh I tend to use hybrid picking way more because of him, it feels senseless to only use a pick and waste the other fingers! I am not ready to completely ditch the pick tho

    • @eliasferrercano4984
      @eliasferrercano4984 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@LevitoSaro I always play without a pick because I started with the classical guitar and when I first grabbed the electric, I didn't know that I had to use a pick so I played it with fingers. Then I discovered Matteo and I learned his technique, so I never used a pick. But of course I still can't play as good as him, but I'm on my way.

      I see him following the tradition of the fusion greats. He draws inspiration from Shawn Lane, Brett Garsed, Frank Gambale, Guthrie Govan. He uses Eric Johnson like aepeggios and he comps like Allan Holdsworth. He's beautifully rounded player with an amazing touch and great sense of melody and plays with great passion

    Possibly one of the BEST Andertons videos ever - not only because Matteo's playing was astonishingly brilliant and tasteful but (thankfully) there was no need to spend endless minutes/sections "shredding" with heavy distortion. To be honest, that shreddy stuff bores the pants off me and all the Andertons videos would be much better without it... but I suppose there is an equal quantity of Metal guys and gals who love that stuff... so ... hey ho! Great vid - thanks!

    • @eliasferrercano4984
      @eliasferrercano4984 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah, he just transfered it to the electric guitar, that's why everyone thinks it's new. But it's not exactly like flamenco technique, it's a bit different.

    • @GreenHoleSun
      @GreenHoleSun หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      Actually it's more a classical style (which he learned from his father at the age of 10).
      But I doubt that any classical or flamenco guitarist can do what he does at the extent that he does.
      The point is that this guy can play basically whatever he wants...

    • @consulentecomunicazionestr3072
      @consulentecomunicazionestr3072 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This is NOT flamenco technique. MM's right hand technique is UNIQUE IN THE WORLD, and he used it with all the electric guitar techniques, like shred for example, is a mix of flamenco and bass guitar that he INVENTED

  • @picksalot1
    @picksalot1 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Matteo is a wonderful guitarist, and the depth of the Baritone frequency range really changes the guitar experience in a creative, enjoyable way.
    So far, I haven't been a fan of the Bacci Pickup sound, as it lacks the clarity I like in the Baritone range. There are Pitch Shifting Modeling and Pedal options that can make a Standard tuned guitar sound like a Baritone or 6-string Bass. But, there are compromises as well as benefits, like not having to get another guitar. There's also a way to apply one octave down doubling to just the lower range strings on a Standard Guitar using a Modeler or Pedal like Boss OC-5. Thanks

    • @eliasferrercano4984
      @eliasferrercano4984 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I use a Boss ME-50 pedal board, and it can apply an octave down or an octave up. So I can easily turn my guitar into a bass.

    With all due respect to Matteo who is an outstanding player....that guitar is ugly as fuck!! And not exactly cheap is it? Well he wont be paying for it of course.
    Obviously it is always a matter of personal taste....but blamey if its ugly and with that sort of retro feel to it.... I don't get it.
    I prefer 7 strings anyway but besides that if one is willing to fork that much there is much, much better on offer.... albeit without the Fiorentina! Which I am sure Bruno wouldn't cook for me anyway.
    Still to everyone their own...I just think its not worth it .

  • @stoneysdead689
    @stoneysdead689 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I'm sure that's an amazing baritone guitar- but it's easily the ugliest guitar I've ever looked at. Well- that one Gibson that looks really similar to it- also extremely ugly- I'd say they're equally unsatisfying to look at. Sounds amazing though- for a baritone anyway, usually I don't care for them. The way everyone keeps turning down and going with baritones- in 10 yrs. we'll all be playing bass 6s. Don't you know- djent requires more than 6 strings and a lower tuning- otherwise, you're just playing progressive metal.
