I own an rtr 200...the only thing i want to know is about the suspension and seating posture. Will it soak in small potholes without any effort. I ride my bike for office purpose covering daily 100+ kms. Recently i have started having back aches..(maybe due to heavy bag i carry on the back). But I feel like i want to upgrade. 80k kms done on rtr 200 in 2 years. My top priority is definitely comfort (and better power maybe).

None of them vibrates till 100kmph You said same thing 3 years back while reviewing meteor. 2 saal baad nayi bike aegi re bolege this is first re without vibrations. Infact Himalayas 411 ke elava koi bike vibrate nahi krti not even bullet vibrates now
Bulk bhai you have the ktm adv too na.. how doesn't compare to that in real conditions.. now real world cab be different from south and for us people here know north.. would love to know your thoughts

This will help you cruise effortless (Vibration free) 80-110 km/hr, where you can easily cover long KM in a single day without any fatigue and also incase if you want some speed or while overtake it will help you alot. "This is a serious game changer adventure bike by RE".
ADV 390 TOP speed what i have achieved is 173 on Bangalore Kolar stretch. And its much above 5k rpm. Also ktm will ask you to ride fast, you have to be crazy head for that one. Suspension setups are amazing if you on off road. But any given day its touring enduro. Not enduro touring. Even KTM says its more touring and less enduro.
Well I am looking for a relaxing bike not a hungry beast my main purpose is to cruise comfortably @90-110 and I do need tohave enough power so I could overtake at 120-130 speed. Damn it's such a difficult choice between these 2 bikes.

I recently took a test ride for both advX and New himalayan back to back. I can say one thing, if you wanna do a paceful ride, honestly advX is much better bike to go with. Some things are fundamentally wrong with the Himalayan. Which wouldn’t suit me so I withdrew my booking. So glad you’re benchmarking this against the advX.
I read somewhere RE's recommending semi-synthetic engine oil. Are you planning to stick to that during your first service or, moving to fully synthetic engine oil?
@@karpich1994not necessarily for highway, will also use for city commute too. I HV been riding a 125 cc burgman over three years and hv done solo rides over 700 kms. Now I want something powerful
@@1963sanjaykthe issue is that the more u lean for a highway capable machine the less good it`ll be in the city (with power comes weight and with higher inch wheels comes slow handling) , so i think a 250-300s will be a good middle option (close to 100 cruising speed) which contains touring oriented bikes like, vstrom 250sx, ktm 250 adventure, and the g310gs, these bikes are : lightweight (835mm* seat height. If u dont do fast/daring offroading then the familiar suzuki ( vstrom) might be a better option, but beware of potholes because it has city suspension.

Besides, bikers are pushed out of road by trucks and cars. In most cases, it is safer to ride off road on our roads.

KTM ADV 390 is so beautiful and this H 450 is so unstable
