Awesome to get Morgan back on the podcast! I missed the boat when Welcome To Blackwater was released. It's great that Morgan's memoir is getting rereleased with extra content.

Don't jump on people failures, Don't condemn those who are down, be good to people and your darkest night will be brighter than noon.
I now raise my cup of mead and extend a big warm thank you to all of you who served in BW and other PMCs for your efforts and sacrifices.
    Thank you!

It was bad but I think the Vietnam guys had it worse. At least today there is alternative sources of information outside of legacy media. That wasn't really an option then.

@@FormerActionGuys what do you think we could have done differently in order to win the war in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 and and in Iraq 🇮🇶? Thank you and God bless 🇺🇸

The first thing would be defining what "winning" meant. We got 20 years political rhetoric rather than strategic goals. Another thing would have been to not tolerate the rampant corruption. "An Afghan solution to an Afghan problem" was common parlance.

Agreed! Out of fairness I listened to the entire interview. He’s clearly very pleased with himself. Then I checked out his clips and not only does he get facts wrong in the Marshall case, who actually videos themselves getting dressed for an FBI interview? Wait, a guy who is going to try and shamelessly exploit a situation to try and sell more books. If he gets sued he shouldn’t be surprised. I too was a witness right up until parts of the story I was being fed by the Bureau of Idiots turned out to be lies. Then I called BS and suddenly I was no longer going to be a “witness”. Lerette, your story is lame. His 214 burned up? That fire was in the 70’s. What about all of the places he was employed by the govt. pre/post Blackwater? Another witness who was dropped like me showed me printouts from JPAS and Scattered C@:”%#+ clearance database. What, he hacked in those two and gave himself TS/SCI w/poly? 😂 Give me a break. Sadly, I wouldn’t even say he and I were bros but my professional experience with him was top shelf. His life is basically screwed now. But guys like you wanna pile on for your own personal gain.

@@HanSolo45 It was a house fire supposedly. If I said the warehouse, I apologize. I'll give this to him; he could shoot the lights out and was great on the team.
Maybe your sources are better than mine. The guy who hacked into JPAS sounds legit! I liked Matt when I worked with him. He took over T24. That doesn't mean he's not a fraud. He wasn't a Recon Marine. He didn't attend all the cool schools he claimed on his resume - wonder if your source has that? He played the game and now he's paying for it.
You're missing the point that he dragged me into this with his pictures. I didn't seek it out. Oddly, he later claimed he never knew me to the NY Magazine reporter when I'm in all his pictures. Do you have his address so I can send him a book?

Hey Hitch, I’m not going to beg you to believe me. I was AF security forces and knew the right people to do a cool gig at a cool time. I walked among giants I had no business breathing the same air as them. I have no donuts to butter my man. Just a lucky guy who got to hear and be part of cool stories that I wrote down. BW is like herpes and Matt was a flare up almost 20 years later.

I’m honestly not trying to make a point. Not trying to take digs at you either. What I am saying though is that this entire thing was not conducted above board. I know the Feds came after him hard when his company was getting awarded a contract for a 3 letter agency by the Trump admin. They lost the contract because his business partner couldn’t obtain a clearance as a KMP. I know this first hand because I was involved in the process with their facility clearance. I also know he had a TS because I was part of a team that handled clearances for individuals and the facility clearance. And when I called BS a few of the other witnesses reached out and told me they were being coached with what to say. Sorry but I have a real problem with that. And that reporter you speak of ended up doing some very unethical stuff that I won’t mention. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter. He’s ruined. He’s in prison. And his former partner that has more skeletons than anyone I’ve ever heard of roams free. I’d say when that house of cards falls, which from my understanding is imminent, a lot of people are going to be saying WTF really happened.
Regardless, I just find it bothersome that people don’t let things go. I’ve never believed in kicking people when they are down. And I also have to go with what my personal experiences were with him and he always did things above board and in my opinion was a hell of a leader. Anyway, it’s not my fight. And for clarity, I did not say anyone hacked into JPAS. One of the witnesses had printed off clearance info out of the systems for his testimony because the Feds said he’d never held a security clearance which was a blatant lie. I saw what was going to be used and then suddenly they dumped that guy from the witness group. But nobody was hacking into govt. databases.
And no, I don’t have his address but can’t imagine it’s too hard to locate. My understanding is he was at a club fed. Not too sure he’d be dying to read a book that you shit talk him though. Can’t imagine that would be high on his reading list.
