Yeah man, I happened to look behind me and was like....dude a freaking bear!!!! I did turn around to get closer but only using trolling motor. Two girls in kayaks went over to it and scared him away before I could get closer.
Wow that water is sooooo low! I like it like that, less room for the fish to move around lol. Awesome mix of big fish! Those chunky largies were nice! Beautiful Gator for sure. Anything over 30 is great. Nice crappie too ! Great nature sightings. So cool to see a bear. Talking to the deer was hilarious 🤣

Funny you say that about the deer. I had the mommy and young one both laying and sleeping in my yard yesterday evening. I can't seem to find the Crappie at this reservoir anymore. I use to go there and catch up to 50 an outing sometimes. Not sure if people are keeping to many or I'm not lucky enough to find them anymore. Yeah, knew that wasn't a crappie...lol Man, I loved that Pike....such a beautiful looking fish! Appreciate it Stacee!

The Crappie was a black crappie, they are just real light colored in that reservoir. I was really pumped with the Pike and the beautiful Bass. That bear was so cool seeing just chilling out. He was on a different bank then the deer were. Thanks for watching!

Thanks Bob! That Pike was beautiful for sure. Yeah man, no issues with that scale at all. I actually put it under water one time releasing a catfish on accident. Took the battery out right away and let it dry out and still works perfectly. Can’t beat having the grip on the scale👍
