Gobius for the win, hey? Sometimes it's fun to try new lures, but with an old, reliable option at the ready, it's hard not to use what you believe in. I loved the underwater releases. Something I dont do enough but might try more of. 10:35 a pretty fish indeed! Dead catfish isnt what you want to see. Interesting but sad about the wreck. Wow. Thanks for the video, Chris.

The gobius does go through leaves and grass well. It is crazy how little rain we have had.

Worse than the 1912 drought huh? Well you it can't slow Chris Bogley down! That gobius was probably one of the best choices with all the leaves. You went fishing on my birthday (Nov. 2nd-- heck yea- I gave you some luck). Curly tailed grubs are always a great selection. Lots of fat smallmouth... some darker bronze ones but I like that 10:30 one with the stripes the most. Big largemouth. Interesteing fact on the 1911 wreck, what a horrible outcome. They should have honored the bridge in the name of the school of the students or something... put up a memorial. That is some great info.

Hey Chris, I’ve been enjoying your videos. I fish Belvidere just above you. Been looking on google earth. Where your fishing. Is the ramp next to the riverside bar and grille open to anyone. I only make a couple trips a year up that way.

I'm impressed with how clear the water is. It's cool to see the fish in the water. It's less cool when it's a dead catfish, though. It looked like a big one on top of that. I like how you did some digging about the train wreck. It's unfortunate that 12 people died. It must have been a scary accident for them... Nice video Chris!!
