Just want to take a moment to say thank you sooo much for sharing great hair tips not just in this video, but in others too. My hair has never been this long before! So grateful for your willingness to share. You have lovely hair😍
Hello! Thank you so much❤️ I’m so glad you are finding the tips helpful. I love hearing that you guys are noticing positive changes with your hair. Thank you for watching!
Hey sis! 👋 Can you do an updated routine/regimen like starting from pre relaxer day, post relaxer wash day/week and so fourth? I’m loving your videos and really want a fresh start on my hair. Thanks! 🤗
Hello!!! Thank you for watching❤️ I definitely plan to do an updated “ week of hair care video” including my wash routine. I have made a few changes that I think will be helpful to share. It’s coming soon! Also you mentioned heat is your struggle point. It was for me as well! The key is make small changes over time. If you use heat every day…. Start with heat every 2-3 days…. Then work your way to once a week. After some time it will get easier lol… I promise!! Reach out if you have any questions. Happy to help if I can.
As always, thanks for great hair tips. Keeping my hair moisturized, especially my ends has really helped. Also wanted to know where did you get your bonnet and if your bonnet band is stretchy? ❣
I purchased the Shea moisture manuka honey & yogurt leave in and Living proof repair and restore leave in based on your previous videos and I didn’t know I was suppose to use them together so I was happy to see this. My nape hair gets really sweaty from my workouts and the curls up and gets brittle dry, any advice on how to treat them after a workout?
Hello. Thank you for watching 💕 I don’t really have this issue but maybe try sweat bands. They absorb sweat from the forehead and nape area and apply mild pressure... so it may help to keep the hair flat. Otherwise I would moisture the nape of my hair after my workouts and use low heat if needed to straighten the area.
I love how u do the trip to the salon. I was thinking about applying my treatment on first than going into the salon. You just gave me confirmation to do it.
Yessss!! Definitely do it. Every salon visit I go with my Olaplex in. At first my stylist was confused…. Thinking it was conditioner and I had already washed. Now it’s the norm. She doesnt even have to ask anymore 😆
Heyy Dee! I know.. it does suck. I get bored so quickly and I love experimenting with color... but it definitely can take a toll on your hair. If that wasn’t the case my hair would be a different color every day.. 😆
New to you channel and love your videos!!! I’m about to get your Unlay but they are saying BACKORDER on it so I will get the Meille oil and Living proof Restore Repair Leave-In Conditioner, 4 Fl Oz tomorrow!! Thank you. I want my hair just like your 😂❤️
Hello. Thank you ❤️ your definitely going to see a change with your hair with these products. Reach out with any questions you may have along the way. Thank you for watching!
I REALLY enjoyed this video. Would you recommend wrapping your hair (around the head) every night? Or would you prefer different night styles such as loose buns, 2 big twists, etc. thanks.
Hello. Thank you for watching ❤️ when my hair is styled and I want to maintain the look I wrap it… otherwise I recommend a loose bun/ ponytail in your bonnet or two twist because it less manipulation.
Hello!! I moisturize and seal on wash day and with this small steamer once per week. I wash every two weeks. Because my hair strands are so fine doing this more than once a week will give my hair a very weighed down look. Thank you for watching 💕
Thanks for the vid Ianna! Loving the info. Did I hear you say you wash biweekly? Or you go to the salon biweekly? Also, where did you get the steamer from that you use in this video?
Hello! Thank you for watching 💕 Yes I wash biweekly. I wash once a month at the salon and then two weeks later at home with no heat( air dry). The steamer is actually a facial steamer I purchased from Amazon 😆 amzn.to/3KjYDHH
So I have relaxed hair and it’s breaking in the back may be several reasons heat, constant manipulation or ponytails when working out. I workout almost every day and sweat in my hair so it’s soaking wet every workout but not enough time to air dry before bed so I blow dry it 😳 when it’s freshly done I wrap it after I blow dry it, then wear it mostly combed backwards out all day. I use a heat protector and moisturizer sometimes. Any recommendations 😳?
I’ve seen a video where a lady wraps her hair puts on a satin sweatbands and then puts on a cap before workouts and doesn’t take it down until her hair drys hope this helps!
Hi again, Another question....based on your past videos & seeing how you take great care of your hair is it reasonable to assume permanent color is going to almost ALWAYS cause some breakage? I have semi in my hair now but semi can't lighten the hair which is what I'm looking to do for the fall season...(honey blonde/redish highlights)
Hello. If your hair is in overall good health prior to coloring... and you have good hair care behaviors, then your hair should do well overall with the coloring. That said not all areas of hair on our head are built equally lol. The front of my hair is a bit thinner and more prone to breakage than the back and middle. So usually when I color thats where I will have breakage. It’s usually minimal and not severe but I usually will see some signs of damage. If you plan to color in the fall I recommend including bond building and hair strengthening products into your hair care routine now ... prior to coloring. It really does help maintain the health of your hair. Thank you for watching ❤️
Hi, I was told by someone moisturizing scalp every day would cause buildup but I have a dry scalp and when I moisturize every 3 days it’s still dry. Do u experience build up with every day moisturizing?
Hello. To answer your question, no I do not experience build up. You get buildup when you use products will petroleum, waxes and other ingredients that the skin/scalp can not absorb. This is why hair grease is a no no. I use an all natural hair oil (Unlay) which the scalp CAN absorb to actual MOISTURIZE it. I had VERY bad dry scalp which Unlay has completely reversed. Look for an all natural hair oil preferably containing argan Oil. Thank you for watching 💕
Thank you 😊 My earring I bought from Amazon 😂 Gold plated. I love them. Had them for a year and hasn’t tarnished. My necklace I got from my local jeweler. Thank you for watching ❤️ Earring link amzn.to/3BEk3dv
Hello. Thank you for watching ❤️ I purchased it from Amazon but it’s actually a face steamer lol. The only hair steamers they had were huge and you sit under them .. like a dryer. I didn’t want that for my moisturizing and sealing routine. So face steamer it was lol 😆 This is the one I have amzn.to/3h7gogx
.. okay this is totally off topic but, are you familiar with the corona queens area? Apparently my mother's adoptive mom ( my grandma ) left my mother a few properties in that area when she passed away years ago and I was just wondering if anyone knew about that area in New York and the neighborhoods because I've never been and my mother doesn't even seem interested in leaving alabama to go back up to New York and take care of the properties.. so yeah if you know anything about that area I'd really appreciate some insight because I was considering either just moving into one of the properties or fixing it up & renting it out on my ma's behalf so any information about that area would help 🤷🏽♀️ thanks 💜
@@shaharajones5812 Hey yes do you know anything about the Corona Queens area? Is it considered a struggling area in NYC area or is it one of the many areas that have been gentrified? I've never been to NY but I understand that there has been A lot of gentrification in certain areas. And I believe certain cultural groups tend to dominate certain areas of the city. So if you could provide any information about this area & what it's like I'd really appreciate the insite before I make a trip up there. Thanks 😌
Ianna - THANKS for all the great tips. Do you moisturize and seal daily, or two to three times a week. I 'd like to do it daily but I don't want my hair to be weighed down. Thanking you for your answer in advance 🌟
You are very real and honest than most well known relaxed ladies here. Thank you so much.

Can you please show us how you air-dry your hair? A wash day routine including the drying process
Does your stylist use a leave in spray before rollersetting or a foam? Your hair is beautiful!
I love Unlay oil spray I use it everyday and my hair is now in great condition!! Longer and healthier,.
I worry about sweat on my scalp after exercising.. So now I just do movement exercises that don't make me sweat as much!
Hair goals ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you 😊 and thanks for watching.
Very nice routine✨👌🏽 It sucks that even if you take the best care of your hair when you colour it there is still a possible chance for breakage.
