Hi, I've had similar problem. But mine does not have a default gateway since it does not show any ip address in the cmd command ipconfig. Any ideas?

My Father-in-Law bought one of these units.. these wifi units are a pile of rubbish !! I would suggest buying a ubiquiti (they do work)!!!
As a part time firmware engineer I test and retest every function I advertise as working to the customer.. If you press my factory reset it rewrites values back to the EEPROM and doesn't over write the MAC address...
>In short the factory reset doesn't work as per the instructions... Paps Calembaa has suggested a work around that may work..

here is de solution to help (might become handy)
1.connect ur extender with lan cable and connect to ur computer
2.open ur browser and search de ip
3.once u logged it, open "Basic Settings"
4.Enable it
5.Now u can connect it wirelessly
