- A very common problem is having a WiFi repeater that cannot connect to the Internet for some unknown reason. This situation is usually caused by a problem in the password of the WiFi network or the name of the SSID that we use..

Hi,I have a wifi extender,it's not tplink it's something no name and since I unplugged it I couldn't connect it to the router.I reset it(the extender) and now when I click on its network to configure it it tells me "the extender refused access".I also connected it with a cable to my laptop,I managed to configure it and still I had no internet.I don't know what to do,any help and advice

after the original wifi reboot, the repeater is not connecting and requires to reconfiguration it. Any solution for that?
Check password its fine. Not too long and not includes special chart.
I have similar problem , once I reboot the repeater, its needs to be reconfigured and it does not connect to the main router on its own.
My secondary router doesn't show my main router signal during repeater mode configuration but shows all neighbours wifi signals ...any idea anyone?

I got a Victony wifi extender, did everything right and get full bars when connecting to the extender SSID, but always says there is not internet access. This shit is maddening. How can it be this difficult for someone good with new tech?
Please check password is fine. Not too long (more than 15-20char)
@@zoominformatica what password. It says in the instructions that you simply use your normal Wifi password to connect it to the existing wifi. At not point was I prompted to enter or change to a different password and nowhere in the included instructions does it say anything about changing passwords

I have a WiFi repeater but mine just randomly disconnects and I can’t use the WiFi anymore if I want to use the WiFi of the repeater I need to log in and redo the log in and repeater process,It’s very annoying.

It works, but I unplug it during the night and on the next day it says “no connection” like it keeps the same name and password of wifi, but somehow doesn’t get signal anymore, so I have to reset it all the time or keep it connected 24/7
Its strange not works after some time. Could be weak wifi signal where its installed
@@zoominformatica Actually I figured out the problem. I plugged it first time and it showed infinitely loading when I try to connect to it and after it connects, it shows "No connection, secured". All I did was unplugged it and plugged it in back again. Surprisingly worked out.

Please help, so my wifi extender hasnt been working for a long for everyones devices. We restarted the extender but it didnt work. It was working before but suddenly it stopped. It can still be shown on the phones wifi settings but when clicked it says "internet not available." Please help!

May be you are far from repeater when start configuracion? Try reset and configure near to repeater
I successfully configurated but it says always "no internet access"

@@zoominformaticasame. I tried very far, very close from the router, with cable, without cable with the router or pc etc. Always the same problem. The ethernet cable does not recognize the first wifi and when I apply the settings with my phone I have the same problem with the bro from the first comment. It's the third extender/repeater and nothing happened

Brother, I have taken this wirless n repeater, but the problem is that it does not connect after the power goes off. Couldn't show the ip address, after that it is fixed again after resetting. Brother, tell me how to fix the problem.

My wifi only works if i get wifi from the router first and then from the extender otherwise it says connection but no internet.

when my wifi extender scans the neighbouring routers my wifi doesn't show up . I put the wifi extender near my router it doesn't show up . the wifi extender can detect the neighbours wifi but not mine . the extender worked well then all of a sudden it can't detect my router

WiFi signal should not gone out after these days. Could be a problem configurration on DHCP

@@valentinhhh solved. I had to call my telecom supplier and explain my problem to them, they allowed me to show my wifi network on the wifi extender, so call your supplier and explain everything to them and in 5 minutes everything is done. the extender works perfectly.

To have wireless mode enable not want to mean it will be some client connected

I have the exact same problem, and it doesn't matter how much I presst the reset button, it doesn't go back at what it was before. I've tried to connect to the repeater with an ethernet cable, no sign of connection either.

Can i use "." in the ssid and "#" in the password? I dunno why i cant access the internet through repeater

For me it says “signal searching” and does not display the names of any ssid nearby let alone the one I want to extend

I have this same repeater. It suddenly stopped working. It doesn't show up as a network. The top 2 lights are on but stationary. The second light isn't blinking. I've held the reset button and plugged it out and in but still not coming up as a network. Any suggestion?

How does a long SSID name affect the repeater? Can you elaborate more?
It depends from password on your main router. Many repeaters not allow more than 15-20 char pn SSID or password
@@zoominformatica thanks man. I thought my repeater was broken. My main router was 18 chars long ( is space counted as char?). Internet was hit and miss though device was connected to the repeater with full bar signal. I've just change the SSID name with 7 letter only chars and now, it works like a charm. It's so insane how SSID name could cause a serious issue to the repeater...

I have a different issue. I have successfully configured the repater router and it's working fine on full signal strength. However, if the signal bar drops to 4 (5 being the maximum), it shows no internet and cannot access the Internet. When I go a bit closer to the repater, it gains back 5 bars and it starts working. Why is that happening? 4 bars means the signal strength is pretty good normally, but why does it cut off the internet. Please help.
