Glad there is a long version of this other than just a short. One here at home has never been opened but when it's not pitching fits it runs smooooth despite never being opened.
You said it best: the motor sounds great! But the customer is violating one of the old unwritten rules of Hotrodding: it’s acceptable to put a Chevy motor in an old Ford, but somehow it’s taboo to do the opposite! Still, I’d be happy with that motor in about any old vintage cruiser!
That was a lot quieter that was expecting. Nice looking engine.
Thanks
I am really glad that I found this channel.
Thank you! 🙏 I’m glad you are enjoying it!
Great work!!
Thank you. Maybe strange but seeing someone doing a fine job of rebuilding and using "old stuff" gives me a warm feeling. Reminds me of my father.
That’s very cool, thanks for sharing that
wow! That thing is awesome!
I think so too! Thank you!
Nice work!!! Thanks Barry!!!
Glad you enjoyed it

6:45 Only after hearing it said that you're a fellow Arizonan that I looked down to also see it in the description.
Awesome sound! 👍
Glad you like it!
Is the vapours coming out the top a flathead thing? Or where crank breathes? 🤔 loved the video
Thank you, that is actually a combination of heat and assembly lube. Oil vapors evaporating… It was a freshly built engine.
Where is this gentleman at, what’s the name of his shop?
Five star engines in Glendale, Arizona
Someone help me understand😂I see 8 wires on the distributor, 4 spark plugs on the side of the motor that we can see but only 3 pipes on the headers?
Here’s the secret - the middle 2 cylinders share the exhaust internally… 👍🙏
Ford Flathead😊
