    Nice simple one this Robin. A good starter hill for the novice. Fort sure sweeping views. You won't get tired of them easy. All the best up there. Mark

      Cheers Mark, just a nice short hike. I did 6 hills in total that weekend but enjoyed not vlogging them all. Plus I have broke my camera, which is now repaired. 😊

    it is my local hill Robin, there is the option of making it a circular hill coming up from the Glenrinnes distillery to the west, all the way over the top and back down the way you came up. There is a reasonable walk back to the starting point again, fairly low level. It becomes a ten mile circuit. One of my mates, an ex-raf mountain rescue bod calls the route you generally go up as cardiac hill. Did it earlier the year and came down to the north of the summit and circumvented back to the car. It made the walk a little different.

      Nice local hill Willie. I seen that track on the other side from Corryhabbie Hill afterwards, I was on a bagging mission and picked up another 2 Corbetts after Rinnes.

    My local hill, been up it lots and lots. Every time is different, never boring. Glad you enjoyed your trip yo out beautiful neck of the woods.😊

    I have an old uni mate from years ago who lives that way on.....Aberlour I think. He's mentioned if I'm ever up that way we'll meet up and do Ben Rinnes.👍

      The campsite I stayed in was near Aberlour, its a nice part of the world. You should take him up on his offer, long drive for you though.

    Not been up Ben Rinnes for a while last time I walked from Dufftown did Little Conval, then Ben Rinnes and then Meikle Conval it was a good 15 miles hike :)

      That sounds like a decent shift. 😁 After I did Rinnes, I did Corryhabbie Hill which was a decent hike too if you avoid the cows.

      @@WalkWithWallace there is another route to Corryhabbie avoiding the cows past Glenfiddoch lodge. Cooks Cairn is a cracker over that way too!

      @@WalkWithWallace done it today (14.08.22), it was just as you said in the video, took me about an hour and a half up and about an hour down with half an hour for lunch and admiring the stunning views from the top. And as you said the granite tors were amazing, I am out of condition a bit and jelly legs for me now but very happy to get this one done, def recommend it

    That hill is a bit remote for me without a car. The hills around Braemar and Ballater are easier to get to on the bus.

    This is my local fitness hill along with Ben Aigan nearby. A wee bit boring when it's your local after 35 yrs 😅.
    I found the secret howff recently too Robin which has made my summer 👌

Never found it...only to have been so close!Found it on my second adventure, right to the door, as if I was walking to my own house. No gps, hints, info from other walkers or anything, but if I say how I did it then the whole world will know 😅😬. So best not say! I thought it was bigger from your awesome disco video wi yer wee pal! 😂

      @@WalkWithWallace I planned staying over if i had found it the first time as walked in. Second time was a skirmish on the mtb just there and back to confirm my theory! 😂 A couple of lads arrived just after me (with MBA active member tip off via GPS) so chatted for a while and left them to it. It was their 2nd night out and they planned staying there on night 2 if they found it. I looked through the books and took some pictures inside before I left. I'll be back to stay over as part of a proper 2 day walk up Ben Avon etc soon now I know where it is. Only knew it existed after watching your video pal so cheers 👌👍
