When I was in Luton with my now ex money was very tight. Yellow sticker shopping was essential. I we had a big Sainsbury's new us. I go at 7 pm and hit the yellow things at gusto. Sandwiches, beef mince fresh potatoes and damaged cereal packets seemed to be always there. . Egypt prawn mayo sandwiches never froze well and made my ex ill. What a shame😅😅😅 sorry lol
Anything you can find in the frozen section of the store can be frozen. Breakfast sandwiches, burgers, roast potatoes, sandwiches with no lettuce or tomatoes, egg bites, etc. They've just done the work for you so it's more expensive. Yes, loved your hair too! The shorter style makes you look younger, not that you need to, and the blue is fabulous.
Frozen grapes are wonderful to snack on 🍇🧊🥶 I freeze sandwiches without mayonnaise, tomatoes, and/or lettuce. Great haul. All useful items without spending 💪 or 🦵!! 🥰🐢💤
@@mumthings Speaking of lettuce...As an experiment, I vacuum sealed some lettuce mix and put it in the refrigerator to see how long it would last before breaking down. It was good for a week but not beyond that. So my future self knows that I can get an additional 7 days if I can't use it right away. Love that vacuum sealer!

Sometimes,things are available further afield but I don’t want to drive thirty minutes and the Greggs,Costa and Starbucks that are in my area- well I’ve tried every thing to catch it for the last three years and I always miss out. I’ve resigned lol xx

Grape and strawberries and sugar and a little lemon in a pot, cooked up, as a topping for ice cream! Frozen thawed sandwiches are great grilled in a frying pan with a little butter! Prawn curry! Good stuff!
Frozen yellow sticker sandwich, panini and wraps are great toasted if they have been frozen - filling dependant (ie not tuna mayo no good but cheese, ham, chicken etc are good. If there is lettuce in them might be best to pick out)
We don’t have these in Japan , they reduce food down so cheaply that the grannies grab them. I know when we visited family in the uk they said they tried them and they got lots of bad food or food nobody liked so they stopped using the app. It’s a good idea but I still think people are still throwing food away from these bags that they don’t like or don’t want. Which is a shame
It is really hit and miss unfortunately. I love yellow sticker shopping but with two young children I can’t really get to the shops that late in the evening xx
Yes you can freeze sandwiches sometimes they go soggy if they contain mayonnaise I tend to put them in the air fryer to crisp them up works a treat.

With the sandwiches put them in the air fryer or toasty machine, you can not go wrong with a toastie and stops Ed eating a slightly soggy sandwich..

I've been freezing sandwiches for years. It really depends what's in the sandwich; cheese, meat or tuna are fine. Lettuce or tomato are not so great.

Freeze the sandwiches and whatever you want to eat them defrost and put them in a sandwich toaster, no soggy bread

Yes I'm a sandwich freezer - just remove any lettuce.
They are great to use in sandwich makers as toasties but ok just defrosted.
