In all honesty I would check the stuff in-store and asked for a manager who should then have pulled the workers who have picked and packed the boxes.
Absolutely, it's on me for not noticing in store. I was just rushing with the kids but I definitely need to check it more in future xx
With all things considered- you made right decision
The food was not salvageable- gone over,liquifies = rotting,decomposing- which is not saleable by any business health and safety /food safety standards and definitely needs noting who is actually packing these- and do they know what is rotten,what is safe to sell ??
Between getting there and a long history of being messed about- you have just cause to be unimpressed 🙌🥰💖🥰

I feel bad complaining because we did get a lot of good stuff. I think I was more grumpy that it leaked everywhere to be honest. If it just hadn't been included in the bags I would have been more than happy with what we'd got! xx

What if someone doesn’t know if they’re not consumable- what if they become unwell- I think they’d appreciate knowing and personally maybe someone needs educating what they’re packing- maybe they would be grateful to know and happy in the knowledge that nobody would become unwell. The chain reaction is a ripple effect. I do get you,we all go for it when unhappy about it but actually you may well (above mentioned) be doing it for the greater good xxx

I agree with complaining, the whole purpose of the app is to sell edible food so it doesnt end up in the trash. it should be still good to eat that day. Mushy, leaking produce is just not edible and you never know who may end up with that stuff and still eat it. I agree with not using that store anymore especially if you are going extra distance just for it as opposed to passing that store all the time on errands.
So sorry you got some nasty produce there. No matter that it’s discounted, if it’s not edible they shouldn’t pass it off as good. I have had issues with produce here too. I do grocery pick-up orders where a store worker does my shopping for what I order online. I got strawberries with white fuzz on them after a day and apples that were brown and mushy inside. Few weeks ago got pears that were brown inside and from eating one of those, I got a stomach bug and felt poorly for a few days. Morrison’s doesn’t deserve your money and I don’t blame you for being upset.
Oh yikes, that sounds grim! Sorry you got ill. I don't really blame the staff as they are all lovely there and they are rushed off their feet, but it does keep happening and thankfully we arent short of brilliant surprise bags round here so I will just go elsewhere xx
I know you’re frustrated, but I would be so happy with the amount of good food. You’d never get that in the US. I agree to checking it in the store is a good idea. take pictures of the bad stuff and show it to the manager. Love the hair.!
In all honesty cat with the squits is the ultimate get out of jail card in my household xx
I think the issue is those prepared veg mixes are from the chilled section and the box has been sitting around at room temp for half the day waiting for collection. Which would make me concerned about any meat etc to be honest!
Yes the pre prepared stuff does not last at all. That's why I prefer buying whole fruit and veg instead of prepped, though I totally recognise that prepared veg is very important for a lot of people xx

I agree the member of staff should check throughly before putting in order but to be fair you had so much good food for very little expense i would be really chuffed. I would let them know for future reference but still a good haul 😊

To me that doesn't look like an absolute fail, there were lots of mice edible things there, still good value for money imo.
Yes we absolutely got a lot of good stuff. I was just annoyed about having to clean up the rotting liquid over stuff. It absolutely stank too xx

Take photo,s and report it to head office, the thing is that someone else may think aw well I will rinse it and
the kids can have it, not all people are as knowledgable as others really and someone could poison another
person without even knowing, I had this with our Morrison’s some months ago and I was straight on line
line after my daughter purchased quite a few bags and the main of the fresh stuff was disgusting, I did get an apology
but we have not bought any from any other shops because to be honest it really put us off.
That’s good that you got an apology. I wonder if they are targeted on reducing what they throw out so they are scared to scrap stuff… xx

I’ve just rescued a herman tortoise. At what temperature and humidity do you keep the tank? It’s a far cry from days of old when they did summer in the garden and were put in a box in the loft during the winter 🤣
Oh how lovely of you to rescue the tortoise! I'm afraid I don't know what the parameters for a Herman tortoise would be as I'm never kept one. Wednesday is an Indian Star so her requirements will be very different. She needs much higher humidity that most species for example. They also don't hibernate at all like many species do. Things have definitely moved on. Getting the UVB lighting right is super important.
I'd really recommend channels like Snake Discovery, Clint's Reptiles and Serpa Design to learn about reptiles and their husbandry xx

Who is packing these .. i mean i get its massivly reduced but come on. Its not that depending on leakage it might spoil other items in the bag / box.
I like them coulslaw kits 👌 but i do sometimes begrudge the price for convinence.
Yes it's just not nice and surely they noticed when they packed the box, it didn't turn in the couple of hours it took for me to get to filming the video! xx
Oh dear. Some of that was a bit messy. Agree with others here who suggest you report so bag fillers can take better care. But----you got some lovely mange tout, baby corn, bok choy for a stir fry! I love a good stir fry! And those baby potatoes looked splendid. (Encouragement from PollyAnna here!). Dealing with the sick cat sounded horrendous. SO glad you called a priest---you can never tell where those demons will get to!
Yes we did get some lovely stuff in there too thankfully. Oh my days priests, burning sage the works for that episode 🤢 poor wee soul. He was not a fan of the bath! Xx

(PS I just got suspended from Instagram for some unknown reason so if you don't hear from me on there, that is why...I don't even post on there because I don't know how to do it from a computer...and they won't tell me what I have done! ("Go to your room and stay there----but why?---I'm not telling you...) Silly to be sad about it but I chat with some people from my province there..I will miss them...
What a shame there was bad food in the boxes. If someone depended on those items to make it until payday or whatever had received that box, they might have been even more limited than needed. The person packing the box should have asked themselves...would I eat that? Meanwhile, here in America, it is financially better for stores to fill up the dumpster with inventory than sell it on an app like Too Good to Go.
It's such a shame the app isn't really over there yet but hopefully it will grow! I think I was just so grumpy about the rotten food dripping all over me and the kitchen. We did still get lots of good stuff xx

I agree with you Claire just don't get any more bad food. You could get real sick or die from it not good.it may look good but not be and all ready have fugues. I would not trust any of it if it was me.
The rest was fine thankfully but the odd bits that were rotten were not nice xx

Morrison’s are getting worse the bags/boxes dates are not a big issue it’s the quality that they put in there that is a problem nearly every time I’ve got them, there’s something that I have bin which defeats the purpose of the app. I almost always get bread and potatoes
Bread and potatoes are always a win in my book but I've gone right off Morrisons in general. We keep having issues with food going bad and it's getting more expensive compared to other supermarkets in my opinion xx

say something on the app. the dates were far too old for them to hand so much rotten food to you no matter how cheap it is.

That prepared fruit pot shouldn't have been sold to you as it's illegal to distribute food past its use by date, so I would definitely complain about that too.😊
Ew - you've proved your not overly fussy in the videos you have done previously but the gone off slimy food is definitely worth a grumble. I'm all for avoiding food waste but not when it can make you poorly.
Absolutely. I don't mind chopping the iffy bits off something that is otherwise fine but if the bag is leaking stinky juices all over my kitchen... yikes xx
