I bought a black ceramic bezel version of this Seestern 600, and it is an absolute cracker. Everything lines up and the lume on my version is really good, just as good as the previous 300T versions I own. The watch is a dream on my 6.75" wrist, so much so that I am now awaiting delivering of the Orange version with Ceramic bezel. Seestern have great customer service too, so they are really knocking it out of the park with this wonderful watch, at an amazing price too. Great review as always . Many thanks Noel
Same. I wait for V3, did it with the Sub 300t too. Both are stunning watches, I don't have a single niggle with the Sub 600t, black bezel looks so good. No issues with patchy lume and bezel action feels exactly like the Sub 300t, crisp, perfect resistance and alignment. Even the NH35A 's in them are some of the best examples I have +3 & +/-0 SPD (after 24 hrs on wrist, consistently) Seestern make a very good watch, at least by the time they get to V3, I don't have any other experience to draw upon.
I've got this one on the review table as well, and I have to say, other than some slight issues, I'm LOVING it. talking about it on paper and getting it on wrist is 2 totally different things...13.3mm thick, flat- angular case...doesn't sound appealing...but getting it on wrist is just a different experience. thanks for the thorough review. I do believe seestern offers GREAT value. their GS homage was a bit of an odd one (price wise)..but otherwise, some really good stuff.
Only the second review I've looked at and can't understand why I didn't subscribe earlier so corrected that mistake this time as very impressed, that Seestern is more attractive each time I look at it, I'll just do a quick AU$ comparison to perhaps further convince me to order one myself, thank you for a splendid review.
I owned the Orange Doxa version for about 8 months and absolutely loved it. I unfortunately had to sell it recently and picked up this Seestern version as an affordable replacement. I can't stop wearing it.
I was put off this when it 1st came out because of the tiny hour hand. Now they're on v3 & the hour hand is the same width as the minute hand ive just pulled the trigger. Also it was only £98(inc vat) delivered.Bargain & thanks for the review
Excellent review. The shape is definitely polarising but if you are a child of the 70s and 80s then it makes sense to issue it with the retro vibe around just now. Love it.
Great review as always 👏 I bought this watch but with the steel bezel and I really like it. I will share that my watch came with a dead movement, but upon contacting Seestern they replaced it immediately - excellent customer service 👏 My replacement watch does have the bezel characteristics you described but not a problem at all and mine seems to align perfectly. The logo on the crown is sharp however, but again not an issue. Overall the watch is gorgeous and very well made, and very good value for money. I also have the Seestern Grand Seiko Homage and it is a terrific watch. I highly recommend this brand. I like the 2 watches I have so much that I plan to buy their Breitling Racing Chronograph Homage branded Sugess next. Thank you again for sharing 🙏👍🙌
Its a good looking watch for sure and I'm quite liking the yellow. Is there any chance if you can see if they plan on making a sub 200 homage, then I'd be super tempted to grab one as that is my favourite of Doxas. The ceramic insert looks great too and I even like more than the steel. Nicely done mate.
I talked to them the other day. They said they would try to make the Sub 200 homage their next release! I really love my Sub 200, but the lume really sucks. I'm hoping they can resolve that issue!
My Seestern 600T arrived this week, and I agree with this review’s assessment of the high level of finishing, bracelet quality, and excellent bezel action. The alignment of indices and bezel on mine are just fine. A question for those who also own this model. When you use the crown to wind the watch or set the time/date, is the crown a little wobbly? In other words, movement back and forth not along the axis it rotates on?
I have a blue one with steel bezel on order from the sale. $97.00. It's the V3 that has a thicker hour hand and I fell in love with it from the photos.
Loved the unboxing video, and this one as a complete follow up... I'm keen to add this one to my collection. I'll go for a holiday sale soon for sure, but wonder too if they'll do a V2, V3, etc. and maybe thin the case a bit or other detail improvements? It's almost worth waiting to see as they tend to outdo themselves later on. Again, brilliant review! (really helpful in deciding it's a must have).
Very nice reviews thank you. One thing I noticed was your right hand at the beginning of the video it was making me dizzy. Don't think I've ever noticed that before. Maybe it's just Monday morning 😎
I love watches that grow on you. Biggest disappointment was the Sinn 104. I wasn’t impressed when I unboxed it and things didn’t get better even after 2 years. Sold it!
That watch looks really good on your wrist. Really good. The lugs drop that bracelet quickly toward the bottom of your wrist, with just a hint of a convex shape on each side of your wrist. It looks perfect, but I wonder how it will fit a 7 1/4 inch wrist? More curvature, surely, and will that spoil the symmetry of the bracelet, the sloping ends of the case and the ideal wrist, which seems to be yours.
I bought it, blue dialit looks amazing. I choose the steel bezel, because I think it enhances the steel case. Although I feel the ceramic bezel may be more legible. I want to get a Sub 300 orange dial, but I may go for another 600 instead. This seems the better homage, with better proportions for the hour hand, it seems to sit better on the wrist, as the 300 is wider and flat. Still undecided. I am trying to find a video that compares the 300 and 600 side by side. The 600 does not look good on nato or marine nationale straps. For swimming/diving I prefer single pass straps as if one springbar fails I do not lose the watch. But I really like it on the rubber strap it came with. More sporty than on the bracelet/. I wish Seestern improved the 600 by providing drilled lugs, as the springbar clearance is tight. and they just put a the minutes in the bezel insert, as those no deco tables are outdated. It would make the bezel more legible in low light. A homage does not need to be 100% accurate and could improve over the original/
This homage caught me by surprise too, but I liked it from the get-go. Since it’s a Seestern, I always associate it with Tactical Frog since they both came out with the first Doxa homages around the same time. I saw that Tactical Frog just released a Tudor FXD homage. Any chance you’ll be reviewing that too, Zeb? I usually don’t like fixed spring bars, but this looks pretty good in pictures.
I like it, except the skinny hour hand/fat minute hand. Confusing design language IMO. That said, if the point is to make the minute hand prominent and unmistakable (ie maybe its important for divers to time their dives or something), I guess it achieves that.
I wasn't familiar with the 600t before I found the Seestern, I was just looking for a black dial dive watch with the crown at 4 mostly for riding my bike, canoeing, swimming etc. So I think I probably made the right decision. And it has a little Jacques Cousteau vibe.
It looks damn good with that blue ceramic bezel. I wish the hands were actually bigger to match the doxa. Is it really thinner than the doxa? What's the weight of the watch sized to your wrist?
Hey Zeb! Great review! Can you tell me if this blue looks darker in real life under normal lightning conditions? I need a dark blue watch, and it seems to look brighter in your review than in pictures I've seen. Thanks in advance bro!
Given the price the few issues are acceptable. Whatever you paid for you video equipment was worth the money. We get a great view of each watch you cover.
I just bought and got this watch and can say that it is a bit disappointing: • The small hand on the watch is too narrow, even unsightly small, at night you can't know what time it is. It is incredible that Seestern did not manage to copy such a detail. • The clasp of the nice bracelet is a total disappointment, it is rough, works wery hard and the clasp safety lock does not fit good. • An additional minus are the too small letters that are almost not legible, as if Seestern is ashamed of its name. With 25% larger letters it would be much better, and the left position would not lose anything I have to admit that I have bought a lot of cheaper watches that do not have such drastic faults, visible in everyday use.
Got no doubt of the quality of it, but also my taste being far from this style of watch. Cheers mate, enjoy. PS Pity nothing good is going on with Steve's channel (Escape Wheel watch reviews). Lets see how the war against that a$$hole will go (guess we all know whom i'm talking about...)
I love 600T case shape from the start, actually its nr 1 on my wishlist since its release.Generally Im not into copies(I wouldnt say its a homage),but I would like to watch a direct comparison. The price difference is significant, for one original You can get whole colourful pack🙈Plus, the scary fact is that Seestern is about a mm less thick, which is quite important for my wrist🫠I think Chinese hit a jackpot with copying Doxa, probably there will be more Seesterns and Frogs in watchboxes than original 600Ts🙈
Clear, focused, discerning, well-lit videography that enables viewers to see the details of the watch. Nicely done.
Thanks Bob, glad you enjoyed it!
its on sale for me now, picked the orange/black ceramic bezel up for 114 Euros shipped on aliexpress.

Wow, both a black and orange version! It's so interesting that it's an unknown, b-side kind of watch.
Same. I wait for V3, did it with the Sub 300t too. Both are stunning watches, I don't have a single niggle with the Sub 600t, black bezel looks so good. How you have only 9.2k subs amazes me.
Haha slowly but surely! Appreciate the support!

Yeh it definately doesnt translate across how you would think. Wears well and looks quite good too. Get your review out on the new channel bro!

My favorite watch reviewer....well done my friend.
Really stands out from the crowd. Very tempting. Excellent review, as usual, and much enjoyed.
Thanks buddy!
I think with these models, if you get a colour dial get it with the ceramic bezel. The white dial looks good with steel bezel.
Just ordered the orange dial version of this one from their website. Waiting for it arrive sometime this week hopefully. Looking forward to it.

I would instantly buy that

I got it on my basket list ready for Monday,JJJ!!! Thanks for help me to make the choice.😉
great review as always. defo considering getting this one.
They will release a version 3 with even bigger hour hand than V2.
I have a blue one with steel bezel on order from the sale. $97.00. It's the V3 that has a thicker hour hand and I fell in love with it from the photos.
Yes great watch
I’ve just received the v3 of this & there’s no back play in the bezel & it lines up perfectly
Loved the unboxing video, and this one as a complete follow up... I'm keen to add this one to my collection. I think they've done a v2 but not sure what they've done. Best colour IMO is orange with black ceramic bezel
Very interesting watch brand!
Not really my style of watch usually, but I must admit that I like it.
Thanks for the review.
Tiffany blue V2 ordered this morning. Couldn't NOT get it. Lol
I haven't purchased a Seestern yet, but I'm going to have to change that. They look to offer great quality for the price.
Very nice reviews thank you. One thing I noticed was your right hand at the beginning of the video it was making me dizzy. Don't think I've ever noticed that before. Maybe it's just Monday morning 😎
I do talk alot with my hands...although you're not the first to tell me I've made them dizzy by my right hand....
it looks like they did a great job with this one and the 600t is such a cool distinctive watch!
If they had a version with a metric bezel that would be great.
Amazing... I want the dark blue, the orange and the light blue... Which to choose!!!!
Get 2, cheap enough now, £86/£90 a piece - black is nice with steel, orange n black ceramic or dark blue ceramic
I love watches that grow on you. Biggest disappointment was the Sinn 104. I wasn’t impressed when I unboxed it and things didn’t get better even after 2 years. Sold it!
Great review. I will look into this brand. I like the options available. 😎

I think it should be ok but yes its definately a good fit

No plans as of yet, i will see if they send me one out
@@TheWatcherReviews Cool. Thanks, man.

Divers are definitely watching minutes instead of hours. So probably the right move.

Excellent review
Stainless steel bezels are so underated.
Stunning
It looks damn good with that blue ceramic bezel. I wish the hands were actually bigger to match the doxa. Is it really thinner than the doxa? What's the weight of the watch sized to your wrist?
I think they said they will increase the hour hand size
They have already been increased
@@TheWatcherReviews Yes but they're still smaller than the doxa.
The links are not screw in
Once they fix the bezel I’ll probably get one.
I think they are a bit of a lottery. They shouldn't be, mind. First thing I check, bezel alignment and feel.
Definitely a cracker, for sure. Top job lad, keep it up👍👍
Hey Zeb! Great review! Can you tell me if this blue looks darker in real life under normal lightning conditions? I need a dark blue watch, and it seems to look brighter in your review than in pictures I've seen. Thanks in advance bro!
Yeh Dan it definitely is a nice dark blue. Not a dead blue like seiko sumo but a nice Saturated dark blue
@@TheWatcherReviews Thanks my friend! 🍻
Hec yeah the alignment issue is a deal breaker!!
No no no it isn't dude. How often do you look at your bezel really? Unless it bothers you all that much
Given the price the few issues are acceptable. Whatever you paid for you video equipment was worth the money. We get a great view of each watch you cover.
Appreciate the feedback as i did have rather poor video in the beginning. Its just a combo of good lighting and a samsung galaxy note 20 i believe
Good looking watch. I didn't get to see the drilled lug holes very well. Do they use conventional pins for the wristband?
Yes pin and collar
Like it a lot ✨✨
It's beautiful. No reason for s real Doxa.
The screen is dizzy due to your waving hand with the watch. I stopped seeing.
subhanAllah this one is nice
It definately is Akh
