This is one of my all time favorite Disney film. I just love how the late great Vincent Price brought so much character to Ratigan. Miss Kitty Mouse was my childhood crush, and she needs more fanart to family friendly to adult.
I love this movie! It combines three of my favorite things together: Disney animation, anthropomorphic animals, and Sherlock Holmes!! It doesn't get much better than this!
The only power the Royals have is to dissolve parliament and can still maintain order over the Army in the event of a coup. Great review of a classic over looked gem. They just don't make them like this anymore.
They really don't and it's such a shame. The creativity, the music, the unique atmosphere and characters - everything is so bland and cookie cutter now to appeal to mass advertising rather than telling stories.
Love that Disney Movie, so great and never touched on again, a real shame a Victorian London mystery with mice's and murders with girls, that could've been a great series!
I hated this movie from the moment I first saw it as a kid. Basil, our supposed hero and protagonist... is an asshole. He doesn't listen to anyone, he's not very nice, he treats everyone around him like shit, and he only cares about himself.
@ Even if the very people who wrote Basil give me a detailed explanation of why he is the way he is, I’m still at a loss as to why are we supposed to like him. All he did is bathe himself in his own ego, mistreats and disrespect his clients, and nearly gets a little girl killed. If there’s any GMD fans reading this, please help me out, why are we supposed to like this little shit?

I love this film, especially the villain Ratigan.
Afterwards we got another excellent film Oliver and company that has some amazing songs and scenes.

This movie is an underrated masterpiece.
