I do everything in batch. Thanks for sharing this and these will be great for my square ones. Round slate ones will look weird in there do you have any batch plans for round ones?
You can call the coaster holder thingy whatchama callit Get ready for it " the coaster caddy " the crowd goes wild. Cheats and accolades all around lmao. Sorry just having some fun. I just thought it sort of rolls off the tongue. Anyho just my 2 cents worth. I love your channel. I just found it about an hour ago and didn't take long to push the sub button. Keep it coming bro it awesome. Very down to earth and easy to watch. Thanks man.
I've been using starbond a lot lately. To a point now I have a referal link and a discount code haha www.starbond.com?rfsn=2094138.f31f45 Code: KEDDIE I think it gives you 5% or 10% off I can't remember I do know you have to use the link to use the code for some reason. But get the accelerator spray with it. The glue dries in like 10 seconds
Yeah man i see where you're coming from. It's against the back fence of the cross cut sled and has two points of contact. Kick back could occur if there was sufficient vibration to walk the coaster into the blade but the sled dampens the minimum amount vibration on my cabinet. I guess the alternative would be keeping the long end against the stop block but it's six in one hand half dozen in the other. Youd then lose the repeatability. I guess I could of made an enclosure over the cutoff but in all honesty I've cut hundreds of board feet with a left side stop block as long as your miter guides are legit its hard to get a piece to deflect.
well your right....but it`s always best to let something fall away from the blade.any pinch can be a problem.now you were cutting very short pieces and your were on a sled,so not too bad...anyway it was cool video and great little project......good woodworking
For what it's worth, I like the way that you explain everything!!! Keep the videos coming!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The side rails were 3/4" I think the bottom (just the one with resin) was thinner but just do 3/4 the whole way it will look more uniform!
