If TADC's pilot left you wanting more, then HOOOOOO boy... ...you're in for a treat when you watch the two new episodes that came out this year so far. They both went beyond my expectations!
i respect your rankings, and i would like to see you rank glitch's older series pilots (like Meta Runner (aka the first episode), Sunset Paradise and Ultra Jump Mania) now time to give my personal opinions on some pilots: would push murder drones a bit more towards a 9/10 because the sound track and atmosphere is just too good, even in the pilot, really nailed the apocalyptic feeling also the humor in TADC and Murder Drones is good, sometimes
I recommend the Modifyers, a pilot that got passed over in 2007. It would have been on Nickelodeon had it got picked up so not really indie in that sense, but I think it counts because it was made independently.
I gotta say though, there will always only be the big 4. Helluva boss/hazbin hotel, Lackadaisy, murder drones, and amazing digital circus. The big 4 people start off watching before branching outwards. Heck, those 4 are the only ones I’ve actually watched. I’ve only recently started monkey wrench

Decided to chip in with my opinion, editing as I watch! TADC: I honestly wasn’t into the show when the pilot came out, but since it was so outlandishly popular I decided to watch episode 2. Immediately better, and it’s just gone up and up from there! I’d say the pilot is probably the weakest out of the entire show, but I still enjoyed it just not as much as other. Without taking into account the rest of the show, I’d say the pilot is a 7.5/10. Murder drones: Honestly first time I watched the pilot I couldn’t get into it. But I was watching it at 2am sooo.. I gave it another try almost 8 months later and quite enjoyed! I still found it a bit confusing and fast, and the show did take a bit of a different turn after the pilot but it’s still very fun. Solid 7.5/10 (Ik people will be mad, but again this is just the pilot.) Helluva boss: I find this pilot is weaker than its Amazon counterpart and that episode 1 is a much better example of what the show will be about. (Till Season 2… no comment.) However I do still find it funny but I’m not desperate to go back and watch it. The dynamics, while toned down in the actual show, are interesting and engaging and the setting is unique. 8/10 Hazbin hotel: I unironically love this pilot. Yeah, it’s fast and a complete attack on your senses, but I genuinely think this is a great pilot. Setting is again unique and fun, designs are originally, funny, introduces the idea and charcaters very well and I think this is a top tier pilot. 9/10. Lackadaisy: Randomly found this one day while scrolling. I wasn’t immediately hooked but the more I sat on it and rewatched, the more I was excited. I find the chase to be fun, but in general I think the pilot’s a little boring besides the chase? Not boring, but more there’s not as much plot (in fairness I read the comic a while ago and I believe it’s more about charcaters than plot? Don’t quote me on that though). However it’s visually stunning, very fun and would still record to anyone. 8.5/10 Catching up: Started it and never finished so I don’t think it’s fair for me to rate. As for the sequel, I’d highly recommend Ramshackle. (I’d give it a solid 7.5 but won’t elaborate as not to spoil.) Thanks for the video! Loved hearing your opinions.
I'm honestly glad you put TADC below MD bc Tadc is cool and all, but MD has more creativity, you gotta have a high attention span for certain episodes tho

If you like the Lackadaisy pilot, then I _highly_ recommend reading the original award-winning webcomic it's based on. It's been running since 2006 and won multiple webcomic awards. I know some people are worried that reading the comic will give you spoilers for the animation, but if anything it's the opposite; the animations are spoilers for the comic.
@ tThe part where Pomni sees a door that says exit on it and then is never brought up again. On top of the fact that if I didn’t already know who SMG4 was, I would have mistaken the show for a coco melon spinoff.
@@SecureInMyHead Gotcha my thinking is that the exit door isn't going to happen again and that the series will just focus on telling one off stories with each character.
I mean.. i guess that counts as an Indie animation, but i'm glad he didn't rank it becuase these are FIRST episodes keep in mind and its only like a few seconds long
I agree that editing the video was the most time consuming part but it's always worth it when you see it fully finished. Can't wait to see it and I wish you luck
