      So you put your second child in the care of your mother who's on a ton of meds, probably because of the trauma of losing her grandson while you're swanning around getting your hair done, be careful what you wish for, you were grossly negligent too!

      @@anythingforselenas806 sure. But as a mother the instinct to protect your children HAS to come above your desire to trust your mom. Her mom proved herself to be untrustworthy, sadly. I almost lost my daughter. By the grace of God, she is still here and she recovered, living a normal life though she still has challenges. That experience changes you profoundly as a mother I am super vigilant with her, after what she went through. Im not saying she shouldnt have forgiven her mom. Or kept the second child away from her grandmother. Let them have family get togethers / visits. But under no circumstances should an INFANT have been left alone and unsupervised with her. Perhaps an older child, like 10-12 after years of mom proving herself competent. Not a helpless baby. So tragic.

      Mother’s acting skills suck . She states she was “already distanced from her family” , yet wants her Mother to babysit while she gets her hair done. So it was ok to inconvenience her Mother by taking baby to the restaurant, but it wasn’t ok to take her own child with her to get her hair done. But she states they were distanced , she doesn’t go get baby or call to check on baby . Plus the Aunt left the scene even though she may have been needed to help with CPR , in other words she immediately started distancing herself before the police arrived . She used her child as an excuse to leave .Entire family acts odd.

  • @KeepGoing225
    @KeepGoing225 17 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +82

    The 1st death, Grand ma and Grand pa were home. Grandma took her meds and went to sleep for a nap, Grandpa decided to leave without telling Grandma or waking her up. So that case is Grandpas case. I would not ever leave a baby alone while someone is sleeping and took meds and just walk out. 2. URI poor baby, her mother should be ashamed of herself. It seems that both daughters were having their kids with grandma a heck of a lot. To the point she had a room equipped with supplies for them. She just had the granddaughter for 4 days the week prior. And the family knew she was on meds, if she really felt that Mom was responsible for her sons death that makes it is blatantly neglect to put your daughter in the care of someone that you knew was not fully capable mentally, on meds, to the point the possibly let your son pass away. This Grandma should not be the family caretaker dump for when you feel like checking out from being a parent knowing she’s not fully capable. I have no doubt that both incidents were accidental, but the responsibility falls upon the parents to make sure they are leaving g their children in capable hands. The daughter seems not so distraught, more so getting off on the attention of the case and pushing her Mom to be the sacrificial lamb. Disgusted personally with the case knowing the facts of it that the daughter takes no responsibility and would be ok with her mother being in prison for the rest of her life, when really if that’s so then she should just as well be with her.

    Stupid question. Why would she ever entrust her mother to take care of another child if the first one drowned in her care?

      Yes! Maybe mama’s not okay. Don’t want to take a chance. It is MY child after all and mama’s not a babysitter, but a grandmother.

    First off, stop having kids! Second off, during verdict it seemed like she was shocked her mother was going to jail, and I thought she was on her mother's side. I guess not, but, still, why would you give your child to your mother after one of your children died on her watch? I wouldn't do that with a pet. And lastly, just watched her sister chewing gum on the stand in court. Really? This family needs to be fixed.

    2 babies dead I would be on my knees with grief these parents seem to be competing for interview space “we advocate for our children” then why leave a 2nd baby with grandparents who are obviously unfit to care. My heart breaks for those little ones.

    The mother should of been charged. I mean she just said that that grandmother already had been responsible for the death of another child by drowning so why on earth would you leave your other baby alone with her after she already proved she couldn't b ed trusted I mean where was the mother too busy drinking & taking drugs.......

    As a former drug addict that's been clean almost 9 years I can tell you these two parents are both drug users that's why im guessing they were not taking care of their children in the first place. It's obvious to me they are both drug users that had no business having children in the first place. Although I'm clean now I'm grateful I never had kids to expose them to my lifestyle at the time. Those two have a real hide coming on camera playing the victims. As both their children would still be alive if they had been doing what they should of been doing as parents instead they dump the kids with the grandma so they can go use drugs & drink they are far more responsible in my eyes than the grandma

      Yes that would make more sense. Not judging anyone with addiction but important especially if the Mom was actively using. I can understand more if that's the case. I never thought about that as a possibility until I read your post. I just learned they have a new baby at home....wow

  • @trixiec4880
    @trixiec4880 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +3

    The grandmother had medical problems and was on meds, which can affect you cognitively, the daughter was still pressuring her babysit and dumping kids off on her regardless of her declining health and regardless of already having 1 child die due to grandmas falling asleep after taking her meds. Mom knew grandma shouldn't be babysitting, her freedom was more important IMO

    So the Mother wants justice for the first child’s demise yet takes another child to the same person to care for . If the daughter even suspected the grandmother of neglect of the first child she should be held accountable for leaving another child with the same person . Common sense . Why why why Mother would you leave another child ?

      @ Not at all and I think you know what I mean. My mother and father became grandparents at an early age and they still had the ability to be responsible for children but they were not free babysitters. They loved their grandchildren and spent plenty of time with them but had a life because they were young but the time did come when we had to question their abilities and we did. Things change. People get older and the moms and dads responsible for these children have to evaluate that and make good decisions. After one death, I would be questioning abilities.

    Mrs. Shock needs to go be silent, she is culpable as well. She should be glad she is not in jail as well. She has no motherly instincts and already replaced Uriel with a child with an almost identical name. You did Ezra no justice by letting her keep Uriel, Mrs Shock, so thats on YOU!!!! And if you thought she needed to be held accountable for him, why did you sacrifice her daughter to her!!!!!!

    The grandmother did wrong and will have to live with that the rest of her life. With that being said I understand you want to trust your mom to keep your child. On that day the grandmother was not prepared mentally to keep the child. As older people get they get in a routine and when that routine gets altered they can become confused. The grandmother seemed to have a lot going on that day. Roofers at the house could they have distracted her maybe? Then she had the other grandson coming over for a fun night out her mind was on that. She knew what she had to do that day but when this daughter called she said sure I will keep her. Now my question if hair took 75 min why leave the child in her care all day. The salon was close to where they ate so why not pick her up once you are done or have your mom drop her off at salon. Why no text/call checking to see if they had gotten home, if mom had fed her, changed her. If an accident happened where my other child died in the care of my mother you better bet I am going to be wanting updates. I am going to want to make sure my child is good. This mother gets hair done and then goes home to clean house and start dinner. Why leave this child for a long period of time when you know what happened before. Dad was at the house mowing why not call him and say hey when mom gets home can u just check and make sure all is good. I think the mother could have been more attentive. Not saying what the grandmother did was right but look at the whole picture. Very sad that this family has been torn apart with these tragedies.
