What’s crazy is the amount of people I see comment that they think her sentence was unreasonable. I’ve seen people get more time for a DUI when they proved in court that she ended two people intentionally. But the judge didn’t actually have a say in what the sentence was, just if it would be concurrent or consecutive. I just don’t think 15 was enough based on the circumstances but who knows maybe she will change.
What she did is absolutely disgusting, but this is incorrect. Sentencing was a year ago I don’t know how they have their facts mixed up. The body cam arrest was months later so she is not acting like this immediately after the accident. The bracelet was supposedly from her bf. She was not unscathed, she was life flighted from the scene and was hospitalized for a while. But her dressing up as weed and a corpse for Halloween 3 months after the accident, I would think that would’ve been their point to show she didn’t take things seriously or show much remorse. Or that she asked her mom in pig Latin in front of the detective “can we say I had a seizure, can we tell them something like that?” And her mom replied “we can”. Then asked if they could just take her license away for 10 years but was also seen driving after that. I would say those things go toward the point they were trying to make instead of her focusing on the bracelet (that her deceased bf gave her).

I'd like to speculate the chance that the jewelery of which Mackenzie was reluctantly taking off... had some type of sentimental value to her. Obviously she's probably not extra worried about being a fashionable police station or jail bookee (so to speak), but as odd of an impression as her reluctance could've given... considrring the second shockwave (an indictment on top of being something of ultimately responsible for two deaths)... good question how someone could percieve their state of reality at such a time.
It overall would seem more proper for a police officer to follow up their announcing of charges (issuing an arrest) with such as a "do you understand" as opposed to an "ok." That said, an "ok" seems to be a "meeting in the middle" between the officer and individual being arrested. It seems more appropriate for the ofgicer introducing your rights being so exclusively taken away, to be the one to fully extend themself. That said, an "ok" also could at least sound anyways... as something of sarcastic (or at least I advertently), being that a defendant could see their arrest as "not ok" for however many reasons.... In conclusion though, if you wouldn't go out of your way to ask someone (anyone) who clearly has a reason not to feel "ok"... if their "ok," then regardless of the context from the police officer... just rephasing the question somehow would appear more professional.
I’ve followed this case and the bracelet she was referring to was either made or bought by the deceased boyfriend. She did a horrible thing and I’m not condoning any of it but at least get the facts straight.

"A society that does not respect women's anger is one that does not respect women; not as human beings, thinkers, knowers, active participants, or citizens." Soraya Chemaly, Rage Becomes Her: The Power of Women's Anger
The Mackenzie Shirilla’s case is a very, very strange case and too dubious to be credible. For a very serious failure of Mackenzie's car, or a dementia crisis of Mackenzie's boyfriend, Dominic Russo, under the marijuana effect, in fact. Dominic Russo has probably pressed the gas pedal himself during his dementia attack, and caused the car crash. His own mum was very afraid of him, especially when Dominic was with her in his car. Dominic's mum had expressed her fear, telling Mackenzie by SMS. This case has been falsely presented as a premeditated murder by a corrupt prosecutor during the trial of Mackenzie Shirilla. And especially when you see the incredible amount of videos that have been made and posted about this case, blaming, insulting and spitting on Mackenzie every day. In each of these spurious videos, it was forgotten that the prosecutor who convicted Mackenzie already had a criminal record for orchestrating a smear campaign against his former county attorney. What a judicial shame to be convicted by a corrupt and corrupt prosecutor! Mackenzie Shirilla never premeditated her suicide by wanting to take her two friends with her, and she never premeditated a murder beforehand to kill her two friends. Poor Mackenzie, may God take care of her and protect her, during her 15 years in jail. May God save her especially from the temptation of suicide and despair. May God take care of your parents and relatives and help them as well. What you do to the least of you, you do to me! (Jesus Christ). In this "alleged" case of premeditated murder, which is not a case of premeditated murder, it has also been forgotten that Dominic Russo's mum had helped her other son, Angelo, to be sentenced to community service, without going to jail. And this for "gross sexual imposition." Dominic Russo's mum, after a head-on collision with another car, was found civilly liable for the injuries she caused in that accident, during a jury trial. In Cuyahoga County court records, you can see many other court posts about Dominic Russo's mum, but also about Dominic himself and Davion's brother. Davion is the other boy who also died in Mackenzie's car crash. Taking into account all these unrelated details by all the videos posted by many weirdos and many sick people on TH-cam and most social networks that for almost three months, have been making Mackenzie feel guilty and presenting her every day as a devil escaped from hell. Miss Mackenzie Shirilla has been deceived by people who are not at all reputable and not at all upright. Remember: Mackenzie Shirilla had never had to deal with justice, had never been convicted, and therefore had no criminal record, and her name was not recorded in any court records. Only in the banana republics can you see such a trial! Fortunately for Mackenzie, her parents and supporters continue to gather more and more evidences contradicting the theory of premeditated murder. Hopefully that Mackenzie will be cleared and released as soon as possible this year or in 2025. What a shock it will be on all the social networks, when we will announce her release and her regained honor. And we must also imagine the anguish that will seize her accusers, defamators, insulters and weirdos of all kinds who since the day of her conviction, in August 2023 ; when they’ll all be prosecuted for insults and defamation. For general information, Judge Nancy Margaret Russo, who had Mackenzie Shirilla convicted, was recently defeated in the election to keep her job as a judge. And the crooked prosecutor O'Malley has personally discharged himself of the consideration of Mackenzie’s appeal file, entrusting it to another prosecutor, for this dark crook presumably frightened by the large amount of evidence refuting his thesis of premeditated murder in advance, and also premeditated suicide with the intention of leading her two friends to death. Contradictory evidence which constitued the appeal record was growing every days. The crooked prosecutor O'Maley who convicted Miss Mackenzie Shirilla, during her trial, was a heinous liar in court, claiming that Mackenzie Shirilla had no personal remorse after the tragic deaths of her two friends. While she often went to the cemetery to collect at the grave of her two friends killed. The impartiality of this prosecutor and local justice are very wrong! The mushroom drugs found into Mackenzie car actually belonged to her boyfriend Dominic, who was in reality a dealer. Dominic's mum and brother conspired with the local police inspector to charge Mackenzie Shirilla, and present Dominic as an innocent victim, and make people forget his activities as a drug dealer. Another serious fact, a judge of the Appeal Court was replaced a few days before the appeal hearing that took place the 26th September, 2024, by other judge, the judge Celebrezze, who has relation with Christine Russo, the mum of Dominic Russo, the Mackenzie's boyfriend. As a result, Mackenzie's appeal was dismissed, and Mackenzie stay in jail for the moment. Corruption runs deep in Ohio state juridictions.
@@andreamalnar9251 Mackenzie couldn’t remember anything before and during her car crash. She asked before her trial to be hypnotized so that she could remember what happened, and was denied the hypnosis session. What a shame for the Ohio state court system!

Right. Or like them saying she was high as a kite. It was either the prosecuting attorney or the detective that said based on the amount the drugs in her system, they were not a likely factor of the crash
The bracelets are from or for the loss of her boyfriend.lets not forget, She's only a teenager. I'm not sure the evidence proved her intent. People who know her best seem to say otherwise. 🤷🏻♀️all im saying is that perspective is important. It's a heartbreaking case!
100 mph is normal highways speeds in Texas. I have no sympathy for her but still. People that act like this is an insane speed must be driving Hondas or Toyotas.
Edit oh wow yeah she was in a Camry, not very well built vehicles
Marijuana & THC in her system?
So soft and and nice to her, I wonder why they don't treat everyone like this... hmmmmm?
This little selfish thing definitely got off easy because she's young and white and I'm a white person saying this. Very unfair to the two young guys who died. Horrible!!
What does THC have to do with murdering two people with a car? Get over the reefer madness.
Remind me not to get in your car.
@@karentracy9657Karen’s could neva 😂😎💨
Are you just as dense as her? Does it not alter the state of your mind?? THC is just as bad as alcohol, and even worse for some people. I smoke weed so I'm certainly not opposed to it. But I don't smoke and drive.
@@karentracy9657no one wants you in their car, KAREN
@@karentracy9657 EXACTLY 💯💯💯💯 👏🏼 🙌🏼 👌🏼 The "person" who tyoed that statement just told us what is valuable to him or her. smh...
This was HORRIFIC!!!!
Theyll give her the beans in jail, dont you guys worry.
i dont think they are reading the situation correctly.....I dont think she is concerned about ruining ....her jewelry...I think the bracelet is something her boyfriend gave her and in some nutty demented way she is...now....after killing him.... sentimental about it because he gave it to her.
I have been wondering about this case. Tyvm for the new info.
This slug is no doubt a waste of oxygen but this host of the show isnt far behind
The news anchors are dead inside morons.
17 yr old crying involved in a horrible accident.
Everyone assumes she's guilty. You should be assuming she's innocent until proven guilty.
But I doubt that was done. What a tragedy.
Was she trying to commit suicide and murder?
She wont be out in 15.. Believe me every parole hearing the parents of the two men will show up..She will have to max out..30 years..She will still have a life starting in her 50s .. It's is what it is ...
Sensationalist Julie. It never gets interesting.
Oh ho..tsk
Perhaps the bracelet was given to her by her dead boyfriend and she didn't want to give up perhaps she knew that it was not intentional on her part and didn't realize how serious everything but thought she's just be going home
She says, "i can't wear any of it? I can't wear these?", meaning more than one bracelet. Don't try and make excuses for her.
How is she driving n completely unhurt?
Riveting stuff. Seriously, court tv sucks. She’s been convicted and this video is nothing. Yet you get comment from the weird guy before throwing to commercial. I honestly want to know why court tv thought this was important? Were the bracelets made from the bones of a missing child? Thanks for wasting out time. We are all dumber for having watched this and May god have mercy on your soul
Don't worry,,,,,they give nice new jail jewelry for free
Isn’t this case over?
yes, just new bodycam was released
@@CourtTVthis has been out for over a year.
It wasn’t proven she did it on purpose
The prada slipper stuck to the gas pedal and the dry run the previous day seems to say otherwise.
Isn't this from last year?
They literally say this incident happened in 2022.
At least 40yrs
Why was she speeding?
She was high as a kite, as stated in the video.
Can I wear these ?
amazing
They could have been gifts from her dead boyfriend....maybe she didn't try to kill him.. just a very high 17 year old that made the mistake of her life. And yes, she deserves time in prison for this
Eating disorder?
she actually doesn’t look as thin as she did in the past in this video
Hey you media, it’s time to leave this innocent poor teen kid alone!
The bracelet had to do with her boyfriend who died in the crash,,, that’s why she was soooo sad to have to remove it… she felt like that was her connection to him, because she really loved him.
😂😂😂 as she barreled the car into a brick wall?
She really loved him while she floored the car pedal, accelerating into a brick wall at 100 mph?
I see mackenzie car. But I don't see mackenzie driving. How do I know mackenzie was driving, how do I not know the boys where distracting her, how do I know it's not medially cause. She has POTS SYNDROME 1 in 100 females have it and can cause you to pass out if dehydrated. Ik become i have a similar diagnosis especially when it is in the summer and most of my spells happens in the morning. When did this happen in July and mourning.
Punk
Mackenzie is not a murderer. It was an accident she didnt not to mean to cause the accident it wasn’t intentional..
🖤 R.I.P. to those two beautiful young men and my heart goes out to all the families involved ❤️
"A society that does not respect women's anger is one that does not respect women; not as human beings, thinkers, knowers, active participants, or citizens."
Soraya Chemaly, Rage Becomes Her: The Power of Women's Anger
Who cares about ♀️if they act like this? 😂
And this for "gross sexual imposition."
Dominic Russo's mum, after a head-on collision with another car, was found civilly liable for the injuries she caused in that accident, during a jury trial.
If Dominic Russo pressed the gas pedal, then why Mackenzie didn't say so before they arrested her?
@@andreamalnar9251
Mackenzie couldn’t remember anything before and during her car crash.
She asked before her trial to be hypnotized so that she could remember what happened, and was denied the hypnosis session.
What a shame for the Ohio state court system!
