Other reviewers have said that the gloves and boots are actually a textured vinyl, not pleather, so there (thankfully) shouldn't be issues with durability.

Hot Toys half-arsing the DC releases again. I cancelled Catwoman when she was released for all the points you mentioned. Hoping InArt will do her justice one day.
Really unfortunate! I was hoping for so much more from a 2.0. It was barely a 1.5 lol hate to see it considering but if you can find her for bargain bin it's still solid. Just not top tier
I want the Catwoman because I am a huge Dark Knight fan. I was disappointed by the long wait. I ended up moving her mask up to cover the hairline but I have to admit it was stressful.

Disappointing to hear the reservations you expressed. I don’t know how committed I really am to expand beyond Batman with the TDK Trilogy Figures, but this kinda helps in thinking it may be best to hold off. DX19 and the infamous Batman Begins figures are the only two Hot Toys I have. One decent experience and one lukewarm, so I’m definitely in no rush to invest in another. I love watching reviews and stuff on Hot Toys, definitely something I’m infatuated with. Probably just stick to living vicariously through you guys! 😅
I have quite a few from the dark knight line now! It's one of my favorite film trilogies of all time! But there have been a ton of re issues within the line and some questionable decisions made for what should be improved and what basically stays lower tier. The Begins figure had no business not being significantly improved over the previous version but wasn't. The Dx is a beautiful figure! But hot toys also then gave us the armory sets with advertised improvements on the dx 19. The chase can be fun, but when there are disappointments in the lines, it is almost more enjoyable to live vicariously forsure hah love that! Best thing I've done for my own setup is sticking to favorite characters mostly! And not buying into hype, but rather buying with vision for your future setup!! Ugh…I really wanted this one for my Dark Knight collection. Come on Hot Toys, you can do much better than this.
Unfortunately I totally agree!! She's still good but not great. At a distance she still looks good in the display though depending on your setup. If you can find her at a bargain bin discount I'd still consider it

Yeah with this one I kept the goggles on and put her on the bat pod. Does the trick for now until something better comes along.
It is better than the 1.0 which I had and was incredibly dated but that’s not saying much.
I had the 1.0 also and loved it at the time until it peeled like crazy lol the body is better on this and the likeness for sure but really unhappy with the hair tucked under the face look lol thanks for watching bud!
I have the 1.0, but because I live in England, no flaking! I recently picked up the 2.0 new base. I have incorporated the new base into my Dark Knight diorama with Bat Pod, so base works okay for me. I do feel the 2.0 head sculpt is not great, a shame!

The material is definitely different, the suit itself is much more flexible and thicker. The gloves and boots aren’t pleather, it’s a PU/Rubber I think it could be a pvc material. Only time will tell whether it’ll flake in the future, but it’s definitely different.
Proportions are great, just needs a pose to help them shine.
The handgun has a moving slide and a removable magazine, not sure how you missed that and so confidently said it doesn’t.
The hairline is bad, the single jointed elbows are very annoying, it should have been double jointed, I think it’s the same body as Padme / Bo Katan underneath potentially.
The figure isn’t great, but some misinformation in your vid icl
Thanks for the comment. I went and checked my gun and those pieces are stuck in place. Can't get it out at all which I'm not sure if I just got a dud or what! As far as the suit material, I can tell it's different from the og but not to the point where I don't think it will peel the same way. We've seen new matrierals on figures that resemble leather but are now more like that windbreaker material. Seems like a fail they didn't update this figure like that. It doesn't feel like a full 2.0 to me. However, the video is opinion based and isn't meant for misinformation, but i appreciate your attention to detail and thoughts. I was thinking of getting this one but not sold on the sculpt, and you were the first to point out that the face is just placed over the hair ... I hope either Inart or another company gives us a better version, at least a 3rd party sculpt, great video and review ❤

I got mine in today. Very underwhelming figure in person. The base is the best part of it.
Ahh that sucks you are feeling that way. I did move the whole mask off the face up to cover the hairline and like her more, but I agree it's my least favorite of 2024 so far. Thanks for tuning in though still and supporting the show!

Ahh that sucks but I'm glad i saved you the money and or dissapointment I felt. I have moved the mask off the face to hide the horrible hair seam but it's still about a 6.5 for me maybe 7. Hope there's a different opportunity for you in the future! Thanks for watching and supporting the show!

Good review. I liked it a little more than you. I actually never noticed the hairline issue. I never had the 1.0 so this is fine by me and I’m glad to have it with my Dark Knight display. I would give it an 8 because of that awesome diorama base. I have Bane on preorder as well. Would love a Scarecrow and Rhas A Ghul.
It's been growing on me. I moved the mask off the eyes as well to cover the hair line and I think I like it even more! I see the likeness to Anne better and covers that ugly seam hah now I'm just having a hard time keeping her standing without the base lol damn high heels!
Thank you for the honest review. This one seems really disappointing. This also makes me worried about the Artisan line. Hot Toys seems to struggle so much with rooted hair.

Have two of the first ones and yeah both of them have that flak problem but to me way better than this one for starters new head doent even look Anne plus they didnt even bother giving her the big lips cause thats what Anne known for so first ones both that i have look so much like her and better hair so idk why they did what they did to this new one with the hair. But just my opinion.

@@TheBenThomasShow Yeah man its all good just my thoughts on it and seeing this one you have idk body suit looks great and yes hope it does not crack. And if its good idk maybe i will get one but do a custom or something swap suits but still use the first ver. head sculpt. Oh and last on the first ones the hair is all over the place lol so have to comb hair.
Awesome review and I think you should pick up the hot toys Pattinson Batman Ben instead of waiting for the Inart figure, I have the Pattinson hot toys and it is incredible you won't be disappointed.
