FOUR TIMES! Four times I tried tier 3 and I always lose. I have sort of your stats on Luke, but when I get to put blind on Vader (the tag IS on him) it simply does not work. He NEVER fails to hit me. Last try it took him two rounds to kill me... My patience is running very low with this game... playing since Day One, I'm starting to hate it.
I think your channel has been the most effective for me when farming GLs. It's saved me so many tickets. Brushing up on the event now as I get closer to JML. Love your channel.
Just for the record guys, I’ve got all the way up to tier 6 of the event with a G12 JML, in other words it’s not essential to have him at relics before you start looking to unlock the ultimate ability.
Last year I followed your guide for SLKR and unlocked him after some ups and downs. I followed this guide and unlocked JML few days ago and didn't lose a single battle. Cleared T3 with a Speed arrow mod instead of Crit Avoidance so that works as well. Thanks! :))

Five times, I tried Tier 3, 300 crystals wasted of total failures. Blind is not working on Vader, he gets it but it really does NOTHING, whatever attack he does while blinded hits me and gives malus.
Same thing happened to me too bro. Same tier same bag of shit every time. This loser gridan made me lose 4 times using mods i upgraded to above gold gold! The crit avoidance mods does shit to keep Vader from wiping you out with his culling blade! Speed is what’s essential and a pair of health mods. Put my speed to 247 and got the job done once the first time. I clocking jml like that is a breeze! Ban this bitch from this channel!
My guy just commented yesterday on the same bullshit! And this punk hid his comments. Speed mods are the key and a pair of health mods is what it took to get JML unlocked! My guy failed 4 try’s in a row!!! Ban this broad from her own channel!

I lost han solo in the second tier during wave 2, probably because of exposes. And I lost the battle in wave 3. Your guide helped a lot. Targeting the stormtroopers does make a huge diference

How long again have you done this? As I am not getting anything to happen like the video for me! Hardly any blinds hit!! No damage !!! I repeat no damage given at all!! 95% he gets ability block! I have done what you did and get nothing even close! When it looks possible!! The next 1 or 2 hits deal no DAMAGE! Then he pops back up to full health & 1/4 protected then damage over time and done! Nothing like what your saying. But the no damage is really upsetting!! Anyone else???
Same problem here. Exactly what happened to me. Vader regains health and protection faster than I can do damage. I’m hoping it’s just a one time thing but I’m hearing this happens to most who try it post-nerf
Does the strategy, modding, for tier 3 still apply after nerfs and whatnot? I failed twice in a row but didn't use a CA arrow. I just learned about it from this video. When I finally farm 60 token again I'll give it a shot with CA. So demoralized to lose 120 tickets.
After hitting all the requirements I realized I had to play these battles multiple times to get the 330 shards to play tier 4 kind of redundant and annoying
Didn't work on T3. Was looking good, but then I didn't really know what/how/when to use his specials or which to use when he could in the ability block bit. So sad right now.
I can't help but notice the only time you died you did a different strategy than the one you outline against Vader. I would imagine that effects the outcome
I am so stuck on tier 3 of JML event. I have an offense/crit chance set with Crit avoid arrow, offense triangle, and potency cross, 10963 damage, 87% chit chance, 190 speed, 178000 health and protection. what am I doing wrong? i tried an offense cross, but I wasn't landing the blind. I start with the 2nd special attack, and then follow with the basic. I've lost 300 tickets. Is this just bad RNG, or am I just off on my mods?
I was having The same trouble but once I raised he's speed to over 240 while keeping The crit avoidance arrow on I never lost again follow grids instructions but get him to at least 240 and I guarantee you won't lose again

I have done what you said for tier 3 and have the same mods and all. I have lost 11 times in a row! I beat it twice after 3 attempts but now I'm just getting the worst RNG against Palpatine. He takes me out after 3 turns even when I have almost full health. I followed your advice to a T and am still getting beat. The number of crystals I've spent getting light side currency just to get beat is depressing.
Man you said for tier 4 "i don't know if it's even possible to lose this" well.... I will raise my hand in shame. so after re-grinding 70 more tokens I humbly came here lol. My problem was going in too soon before getting high enough relic level. thank you for this great video

Have you tried this since the nerf? I can't do enough damage to even get Vader into the yellow. I've got 12k damage and 98% crit chance. But I still can't do enough damage. We just keep going back and forth until the dots kill me.
I had a combination of that plus my Blind debuff from the first Stalwart Advance didn't stick and things went downhill from there. I duked it out with Vader until he finally killed me with a Culling Blade (yes I had Crit Avoidance arrow on). That was my first Tier 3 attempt..60 tix down the drain. 😒
Yep, now he recovers protection from expiring debuffs it's a bit trickier if you don't get that initial blind. wondering if potency is a bit more important now

Do not use a crit avoid arrow. Use either an offense arrow with high speed or a speed arrow. Go for high speed and damage. Use stalwart advance and then basic for your first two attacks. Never use repulse. Use heroes arise at the first opportunity possible to get the extra attack. After that go back to using stalwart advance whenever possible. Otherwise, basic. The battle will be over long before you get a second chance at heroes arise.
im using the guide to unlock JML now but im really confused on how your luke is hitting for twice the amount of damage as mine when i have a higher offense, the same crit damage, and jedis will. i dont have the r2 zeta but its only 10% of his offense which wouldnt think would double my damage when i already have over 11k offense. great guide regardless though, havent dropped any battles following it.
not once has he started with the force crush on me. this has sadly not gone my way most instanstances even with the crit avoid arrow. but nevertheless thank you for the video i probably would just not have been able to get the one 1 that i did without you. being entirely reliant on rng is the worst

Tier 1,2,3 seem quite straightforward. For tier 4,5,6 tell me is it important to go with your modding & if yes can these mods suggested by you be useful in other Arenas or is it only for JMLS Event!!?
Blind doesn't seem to work often in the first move, throws off the entire strategy. Was there a buff to his resistance or is it a potency issue? You didn't seem to mod for potency at all
Even if I manage to give Vader blind, he still hits me like he didn't get it. He hits me with any attack (not just the basic with the ability block) and gives me the relative malus.
I did Battle 3 two times without problems and the moment i would have unlocked JML, the battle didnt work and Vader obliterated my luke - now i have to wait another day :(
The 1st try in phase 3, I did it with no problem, second try fail 3 times(same mods), third time I've done it 5 times can't pass it, Vader does exactly what he needs to do in order to make my day.🙃 The thing is your Jedi luke makes a lot of damage and mine don't.😑

Gear for offence, nothing else matters. I lost my first 3 tries until switching to all offence

Vader is just applying dots at the start of his turn and hitting me with blind. This is more painful than any other journey guide

Only consideration imo would be if you’re immediately going for another GL who’s ult is more important

To Tier 3 - crit avoid is not the only one thing is needed. You really should be faster than 224 with Luke otherwise Vader will take too much turn.

In general you’ll mod JML for speed, protection and potency yes

am I crazy or does my first round have 3 storm troopers....its giving me issues bc i only stun 2 before the 3rd applies defense up and taunt
