I found this guide really helpful. I have worked on Laptops for years and this was my first screen replacement on an android phone and this guide is very straight forward and not annoying to listen to. I found it very calm and informative only really needing the key points. I noticed some people below were having problems, this could only result from a lack of care. Thank you for posting this!
I ordered a digitizer screen from amazon for £10.99 it should come by next week or the week after. im definitely going to watch this video as I am replacing the screen thank you so much on doing this video. My phone dropped on the floor now the screen is cracked.

Hi, i am having a problem with the display it comes and goes with the battery icon it self while i plug the charger or the data cable with the PC. otherwise the display won't come... i was trying to install the recovery on it. it's a MTK device. Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-7562..

Thanks man i have a i9082 its similar to this phone, but following your guide i found out a way to replace the screen, and at the store they where going to charge me $200+ to replace screen for a $200 phone -.-

What's wrong if the keys are slightly (well abt 3-4mm!) offset after fitting a new digitiser?
It's really hard to hit the correct key on the virtual keyboard then.
The digitiser was alighed correctly (along the edges and matching the speaker/home butten). There isn't much room for shifting it.
First of all I want to thank you for all this effort you pay to create these awesome videos. My phone's digitizer broked and I replayced it with your help a new one digitizer from e-bay.But suddenly two weeks ago phone's touchscreen does not respond to more than four touches and then crashes, I have done hard reset and this condition continues...What can I do??? Heys LESSONS , My Galaxy s duos just stopped working ,like, the screen is totally off, but when i turn the phone on ,i can sense the quick vibration and light of the buttons ,exactly after samsung screen startup (but without seeing enything) after that comes the lock screen and i hear the notification of low battery ,so i guess it isn't the mainbord or system thing , but i would like to know if is it exactly the screen, or could it be another pieces relative to the screen ?

I would try using 'Evo-stik serious glue', its very strong and will let you lift the screen again in the future

Good job! Maybe you could do a video for more advanced phones like Sony xperia z1 because it's very hard to find a video for screen replacement and other stuff, also screen replacement may can help with hundreds of people who have touchscreen problems.

it's work in general places or up my house but it's not wok in side
the antenna socket has a small switch inside which disconnects the internal antenna when you plug in an external one. If the wire is too thick or is moved to one side it damages the delicate switch which causes the internal antenna to stop working. A repair would involve removing the antenna socket and bridging the connections with solder or thin wire..

I've not heard of that problem before. You could try searching eBay for 'galaxy 7562 digitizer' and that will bring back lots of results. But its hard to find an original on there..
