well, you all played this very beautifully. I played this at the University of Arizona Honor Band and I don't think we played it this amazing, maybe because we only learned it in 2 and 1/2 days. But still, very amazing.
We were supposed to play this for our 2020 marching show at Joshua HS but COVID canceled it for us... now we're playing it as one of our concert season songs
Played this for our state contest along with another piece, but I showed up sick because I had snare and hi hat. Needless to say we got superior ratings anyway.
@@jacksonlipe1214 I just saw this lmao, and no we were the junior all state band and are band voted on not to play it because they didnt want to learn it so it was pretty sad
@@sarahcole4926 Yes! But even some of the simple parts sound the best like at 2:51 to 3:28, the first few measures after the trumpets at that start also really top what the song is about and the style of it
@@samhamilton9768 I love this song because it’s difficult, but not too difficult to where I can’t play it. It’s the perfect amount of difficulty and that’s what makes it so fun
@@saiyanperez5477 YES, but I do have to say that the parts where the horn and Alto sax played the same parts sounds nice. I got to play this for a music festival in Indianapolis and I LOVED this piece!
Such a beautiful song, tis a shame my band isn't giving a hundred percent effort.
