Why hasn't someone scaled this up to something that can power a home? Perhaps with a battery inverter system as I imagine rpm control could be tricky. Combine it with a rocket mass heater so you can burn scrap wood and paper to power a home. That kind of burner can be made very efficient and relatively clean because it burns very hot.

I did this because with a large flame the temperature was higher and the plastic tube melted and the chamber was depressurized. I did not find material to make a nozzle on a hot syringe.

I made pistons from the plunger of the same syringes. I cut them and glued pieces of thermoelastic connecting rods inside. For better sliding of the pistons, it is worth covering them with pencil graphite.
