Wow.. its alway great and wonderful to watch again video of ur sterling engine.. one of the best..!
I also came back to listen to ur background music.. it's so calm..!
I always comes back here just for the music and the enjoyment of watching ur DIY..
Btw, I built 3 of it.. but one didn't work.. not sure what's the problem is though it's the same exact calculation.. hihihi.. and none of the children succeeded.. lol.. but they did enjoy watching the two models I've made and left it at their school..! The school is the 1st and the oldest built and sponsored by Jica of Japan and built according to the specification of Japanese kindergarten in my country.
Tqtqtq very much for ur awesome project.. and I do wish that ur in the very best of health at all times.. God bless u always Sir..!

I take my hat off to you sir. I was spell-bound watching your solutions to engineering problems so that you could make use of discarded materials (e.g. old hard drives). I am curious what the phase relationship between the displacer and the drive piston.
Very impressive engineering. Thank you for sharing.

The phase relationship is that the displacer rises at 30 degrees before reaching bottom dead center, and the displacer falls at 120 degrees before reaching top dead center. (7:45)

    Hello Mr. Yattemita.
I found your video and design very inspirational. I was impressed by the minimalist approach and the very clever use of epoxy. I am thinking about adapting some of your ideas and modifying them by replacing the aluminum posts with 3d printed components for my design.
At first I was very excited because at first I thought the top and bottom where CD or DVD's (of which I have many hundreds), but then I realized from reading the many comments that those are made from aluminum that have a much higher heat conductivity than polycarbonate.
Are those disks from a hard drive?
For my design I plan to use a CD for the flywheel, since I have many of those.
I found you piston design very interesting as well. At first I considered using to a glass tube with graphite piston, but your approach is making me re-think that there are other possibilities.
Have you add issues with the piston leaking over time? Is there any lubrication on the piston/cylinder?
    ありがとうございました

    • @yattemita4447
      @yattemita4447  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for visiting.
Those discs are from the hard drive.
Please note that some hard disks are made of glass.
For now, the piston does not leak.
No lubricant is used on the piston / cylinder.

    • @yattemita4447

I don't think there is a mistake in PVC pipes. However, I think it is difficult to adjust because the movement of the displacer cannot be observed.
