Technology is teaching us the technical side of Locomotives. I was also wondering how does the track Changes happen very well explained. Remembered me asking questions of Locomotives during steam engines era.
Wat a video......all confusions cleared.....most of people don't know.....but have excitement to know about this.....we all had desire to know it in our childhood......
Engine On, is the name that keeps the promise of its name, it's uniqueness in designs, execution, perfection. I also like colours that you use. All together you have achieved an identity that needs no name which can be recognised by its appearance and style.
I'm thinking how this level changing process actually works when I was a kid . But after watching this video I knew how it works✌thanks for this video bro
Great work and fantastic explanations, only a personal suggestion...there's no enough time to read and watch, please leave the captions for a few more seconds! thanks for your videos, I'm looking forward to the next one!
What we learn in school today ! Sorry I was asleep 😴 during class Watching this ... oh we didn’t even learn any of this most important stuff for our life we didn’t learn it from school but from experience also accounting 🧾 😑
Please allow me to clarify two terms:. "crossing" describes a rail-highway crossing or a location where two railroad tracks cross--like an X, with rails intersecting at 90 degrees, 45 degrees or any other angle (but not zero). The example of a track diverging is correctly called a TURNOUT.
I like the video very much .I like it's because you have shown all the important points in an instrument that it need .you have use different colours to symbolise any particular things. great work I appreciated . May God bless you😇 ,and helps to upload many videos
@1:49 what have you done to protect the routing moving blades from getting stock in the middle position? (this may happen due to mechanical failure, material fatigue, rolling stones from outside the track, animals remains and so on) If this happen then it may translate into disaster.
This kind of crossing always near the station, at that movement operator turn on red signal and technician solve the problem after that operator show green signal to train.
The switches I saw on railways as a child, which were not near a station or tower, had a pair of metal flags on a short upright post. As the switch changed, the post rotated enough to change which way the flags pointed. From a distance, the engineer could tell to which track the switch was guiding, and, as he got closer, he would have been able to see whether the switch was fully in position, but it might have been too late to react. The older mechanical switches had a weight on the end of the switching handle; it helped assure that when a switch was thrown, the mechanism fully completed the change; some of these switches also had a lock on them to prevent malicious or unauthorized changes. (Seen as a curious kid.)
Never knew I needed this in my life, something that bothered me so much since I was a kid. Thanks!
Thank you, for watching and supporting me.
