as a previous vagabond main that only plays solos ballistic dagger/shoving and parries are useless. just hold s and spam f for no-skill gameplay. parries or shoves could be useful for low dogtags but you can just slash then run backwards and repeat
ballistic dagger is pretty useful early game for me idk man
@kosh yep I'm a vagabond main for a long time and realizing that the equipment doesn't benefit you as much and the basic traits for vagabond already benefit normal shoves, I use throwing knife and shrapnel device for extra long range damage and easy looting instead of rushing on ak scavs
as a former vagabond main i completeley agree
as a former vagabond main, bring a vagabond was easier in dw before ls because people died less in my experience
Here's to cover more:
- Don't forget parry exist even if you are slow
- Don't spam F if your percentage is low, it will do low damage anyway
- 10 dog tags is capped out speed buff
- Getting hit usually lose a dog tag, but getting 20 damage in short time will cut your dog tags in halves
- Since you are a fragile and not tanky frontliner, this perk is more suited to backlining with guns like KSG / AKM
- Traits, Go however you like. Fearless or Impatient for common picks. There's professional or Lone wolf to assist backlining
- HOLO Emitter is not deemed to be a good equipment. Go throwing knives to get rations if you don't know which to choose.
- Do not learn anything from this video.
how to fix low frames:
force your video editor to not compress videos into lower quality videos
Shrapnel device or ballistic knife can be good for easier dog tag earning
Hit 10 dogtags and your enemy will only that dude with a big gun
Vagabond = people who tried their best to find motivation
Weapons to use as vagabond-
At the start of the game get any weapon to parry
Next get artisans hook
If you hit an enemy with artisans hook and use your ability at 100 percent, most of the time they will get one shotted. Also artisans hook is just a better ballistic dagger for vagabonds
You don't really need a melee weapon at all due to your speed, it can be useful early on but once you get 5 plus dogtags just drop it and go for repeat sword swings

@@Slayer_Camiller A simple ballistic dagger shove plus a max sword swing will fix that. I highly recommend impatient to give the extra speed for when you lack dog tags.

@@Slayer_Camiller No worries, though don't be afraid to bring back good melees for your team. Even tier 2s can be used until you find better weapons, and once they are replaced you can have it as a backup if you really want to have that safety net.

Here’s one you can try:
Backline Arbiter
Your main source of dealing with crap ton of enemies would be longshots. They get too close? You blast em with a KSG
Same thing you can do with vagabond, its even more effective since you don't have gun cons.
Take professional and reliable and you can easily handle guns if you don't need extra recoil control from other perks
If you long shot on the floor near the enemies while theyre close they die but youre fine cause youre not in the AOE

It’s me again, I think they should’ve added one more thing to the perk for the pros and cons was,the “Nomad Blade “Kira” as a melee slot because you already have a melee! Like what’s the point if you already have a melee but you just use it as a tool!

as a vagabond main. its one of the most FUN perks to use if you have more than 10 dogtags
Hyped for other perks in your video style, like Drifter and Mindflay
Mostly as vagabond i like making ksg, it really makes vagabond a lot easier to play since you can easily take out most of gun scavs safely
The Public Server Vagabond Mindset
- Run around the map going past every blind corner without any sense of danger
- Now probably low on health, when the wave starts, run into the crowd of scavs for those sweet sweet dogtags
- If not dead, takes all the meds and leaves everyone with nothing
- Dies to a shotgun scav
Vagabond is basically like tf2 samurai demoknight and scout combined
It's both overestimated and underestimated, Vagabond traits actually matter significantly on what you want to accomplish. If you plan on frontlining more always pick a defensive trait or more to completely negate and actual gain positive defense. If you plan on being a backline pick traits suited to guns and focus more on staying back during waves, only using kira when enemies get to close but make sure to damage them all with a firearms enough to angle kira and take them all out simultaneously.
Btw getting yourself between rocks and logs on sickler and pretty much any enemy negates attacks and blocks bullets, as you reach 200% through them while they're completely stuck and can't do anything unless they very rarely jump over them, it's pretty broken.

@@Frederico_QMD that was obvious. My first time I achieved night 10 (actually i did it 3 times, but i died before final wave), and probably i messed up with divide placement
To play vagabond better, use traits like: professional (to use guns on late nights), impatient (to run fast as ####), and fearless (to get less damage from gun scavs and traps)

Vagabond was underrated in pubs before LS because pess people died, from my experience atleast. (I lost 44 dogtags because there was a sledge scav jumpscare, survived btw and lost a few more to heal from that thing bc the base didnt have heals)
Might going British mode with vagabond if my laptop can handle dw (Even though the game is banned at the moment)
as a vagabond main, and before you say anything, it's not a skill issue, is just the first perk i've tried in the game back in 2021, just too much familiarity with it. the best traits in my opinion and based on my playstyle are, Paranoid, Fearless and Professional.
Sorry that I may have put it in a bad way! But I must agree it’s a very easy perk to pick up especially for beginners in this game. Which allow you get through the game easier where later you can try a much more advanced class
I have about 1.5M exp on Vagabond (Yes i don't touch grass) Here's a few tips
-Melees are useless, Feel free to scrap em
-Ballistic Dagger is very useful for taking down gun scavs, just hide behind a corner, shove once in range and free dogtag (unless paranoid
winchester scav)
-SMG Scavs are free dogtags, They basically miss every shot and get 1 shot by a fully charged katana
-Please for the love of god, do not use Tormented or Impatient, You don't need the extra hp, you need defense and Why in hell do you need to be faster as a perk that can already outrun both of the fastest things in the game, SQ and Sickler
-Throwing knives do not give dogtags, but are still useful if you are not very experienced with gun scav corner baiting...

Riskrunner: yes, the bullets the pierces emenies but somehow the dmg isn't increase when you shoots them in the head
Executioner: when you want to one shoot bosses but god said is your google is under 10%
Zealot: when a funni shield turret can detect hidden while 2 5000 dollars turrets in the safe zone can't
Tickspider: basically the team killer when you play this perk in public
Crosslink: the cooler steel snares
Blitzer: same as Tickspider but worse

Vagabond is like a japanese Executioner since you do more damage the more kills you get, BUT you must kill your enemies with the Vagabond pretty much lowering the amount of ways you can kill your enemies and making it more boring. Executioner (for me at least) feels like a high risk high reward perk since your goggles lower you visibility and also take damage forcing you to move around more and use your other abilities which makes it more fun to use.

max speed on vagabond is 10 dogtags and max kira charge is at 7 tags. i dont know about the melee swing speed cause its so useless on vagabond

I'm not even gonna lie - Vagabond is so insanely overrated. However, I started playing with it yesterday and once you stack up dogtags it gets REALLLLL satisfying, I can tell you that much. As of how good it is, it's pretty solid. Pros of it are alright too, and at max % it does some nice damage. Also seems to one shot normal pistol scavs which is also nice.
One bad thing about it though is to use the dogtags to heal, you have to hold F, which also means swinging Kira in front of you, which can be annoying when it's at max or a high %.

How u charge so fast
People mainly choose Vagabond since they can't learn the general combat mechanics so they get the one perk that has a giant sword so they can run fast and kill fast. The problem is that most of the time those same players are usually overconfident and lose all their dog tags in an instant.
I always take vagabond because I like running fast lol
