I also don't get a ton of natural light in my living room so I put up a tree with some fairy lights and got a fake lil fireplace and just accepted that I'm going to be cozy AF all the time, instead of basking in the natural sunlight! Sometimes you have to just embrace the gloom and go for all out coze.
Loving this documentary-vlog style! Lately, you’ve inspired me to consider making videos again✨ I’m moving out in a few months and can’t wait to decorate my own place! Best of luck with everything, Christie! 🤸🏻♀️♥️
Ahhh thank you! You so should! It might sound cliché but I really am ✨ so so ✨ glad I have all of these videos as memories! Highly recommend! Congrats on your move!! 💘
@@SedonaChristina we just love you ❤️ thank you for YOUR uniqueness… and I’m sure you know this, but sadly most Americans wouldn’t pass this test! Thank you again so much for this absolutely breath taking video! 🙏
I look forward to your videos so much. I love how chill and down-to-earth you are and as someone also struggling through their 20’s, it’s nice to know other people are too and it’s okay.
So much love on your way Christie! I love your honesty and how transparent you are about the struggle of just building a new life again and again. Thanks so much for sharing your feelings in raw. I totally love the documentary style, video, music, it brings me peace. A big hug from Cusco, Peru. Ps. Seeing you makes me feel I am not alone, and even though we may not know what is coming later, we could be sure it will be intentional
I can’t wait for more of these episodes!! It’s hard to describe how great these videos make me feel!!! Cozy, happy, adventurous, inspirational aaaah 😍😍😍
i say this to everyone-but paint changes EVERYTHING. your landlord will probably allow paint even if you might have to paint it before moving out. it’s like $30 and changes the whole space
So true! I feel like I was intimidated to even out nails in the wall of all my past places and now that I have, I’m like, heck it, bring it on! So much easier to change little things like that and so worth it! 💕
I love your videos! Watch you grow the past 3 to 4 years has been amazing! Taking breaks when you needed and coming back refreshed and even better! The story telling was so good! And I enjoyed watching you make something that brought you joy 💕💕💕
So happy you enjoy them! Definitely trying to get a nice mix of info about new topics. And it always gives me an excuse to learn new things! 💘 Big hugs!
LOOOVED this video so much! the filming style, the editing, the voice-over - everything felt so cozy and lovely!!!! your place looks amazing and i can’t wait to see more of your projects! 🌞🌺💛🦋✨
@@SedonaChristina I love your work. I wish I could have your lifestyle but alas I am but a simple thrift store manager. Us day trippers need people like you to fuel our imaginations and get us through the grind. 😌 keep it up!
Your apartment is looking great! I grew up there but have lived in SoCal for 23 years and miss it so much. Ballard is one of my fav areas. We went on a field trip as a kid to the Ballard Locks and I return whenever I can. The fish ladders are captivating. I hope to take my daughters someday in the near future.
Thank you! Y’know, it’s so funny I have lived here for 4yrs and for whatever reason *still* have not made it over to see the locks! I’ve passed them so many times but for whatever reason just haven’t been down, and I was just thinking I should go check them out soon! Perhaps might have to do that this week! Thank you for encouraging me to check them out. Big hugs! 💕
Only a few minutes in but this video is so beautiful!! Can I please pay you to hang out with me for a day anywhere near nature and just show me how you use your video equipment?! You’re so talented!
If it’s not too intrusive- it would be so amazing and helpful if you spoke a little abt your budget and how you manage finances as a freelancer living on their own
Thank you! It's actually the ✨strangest✨ (and kind of long) story that I haven't told yet! The shared house I was living in in 2020 was managed by a tech start-up property management company that was operating rentals all over the country. They furnished the shared living spaces, and all the residents rented their own rooms. The management co gave up the home we were living in as part of their property offerings because this specific property was loosing money. So everyone who was left in the house was kind of kicked out of our leases early because of that (which catapulted me into a 6 month road trip that I took last year before I moved into this apartment). The property management couldn't come take all the furniture they'd furnished, and because everyone else in the house moved out of state, I was left with a lot of furniture that wasn't mine. So I got really lucky! And figured I'd give it some use, even though the pieces are quite big for this apartment haha. But that's where the couch, absurdly large TV, and console table came from that I moved in this video! V grateful and lucky they fell into my lap! I still think about it and scratch my head because it's so odd haha
Unfortunately that lingering desire to live on the road does not leave, I own a beautiful place in Colorado, renovated to be exactly what I wanted, and after 5 years I still wake up every morning dreaming about heading out on the road once more.
Something I keep thinking about is how human it is to live nomadically? Thinking of indigenous tribes all around the world who do or have done so historically (though I think in a lot of cases it was to chase seasonal food, etc.), but might show that there's something there in our human nature? Yet also to then crave the opposite, stability when you've had a few too many continuous seasons on the road. I don't know if there's any studied standing on the anthropological/biological idea of that or not hahaha but it's been something I've thought about. How wild human design is. Anyyyywhooo, hopefully we can both get a taste of nomadic living when we can! Sending big hugs your way! 💛
I'm sorry if I'm being stupid but why did you have to have an immigration interview? If you dont want to say obviously it's fine I'm just nosey and kinda new here
Not nosey at all! I shared it and didn't fully explain, so it's totally valid! I'm finally in the process of applying for citizenship in the US and it's just one of the standard stages of the naturalization application process 💛 It's been a long ride hehe
haha v true! Definitely do turn the lights on, but still need to get some lamps that are more functional and whatnot because some rooms don't have ceiling lights. I have some that get me by right now, but don't feel "right", y'know. Working on that!
@@SedonaChristina finding the right lighting for you can make a big difference. You would be surprised how much something like lighting can actually effect your mood.

Center block table is amazing! It’s a nice size. Not too big or flimsy.
Dangerous Women is a really fun book! it's shorts from different urban fantasy universes, it's got a Dresden Files short in it.

Hi there @Sedona! Wanna collab?
Girl this is so far from genuine it borders on embarrassing.
Your intense financial privilege is so wild, and it deafens your actual relatability.
