I'm so hyped for Season 3, DivineZ has become my favorite Vanguard series since OG and G. I can't wait to see new decks and support specifically for Youthberk and my BOI Varga.

I really hope they keep up the writing quality that they had for DivineZ. Yes, it was very rushed, but it still felt like they listened to the complaints about the Overdress character writing. I’m glad for new Youthberk and Drajeweled fun. Between them and potential new Bavs, there’s going to be a rush for this card set the moment it’s announced. I do think it’s weird that Touhya isn’t here. I know Bastion doesn’t need anything, but it seemed like Bushi was kind of rotating between Bastion, Youthberk, and Alden as the three main knight units. We got Full Blast Youthberk, then Fated Alden. So Bastion is up next if they want to continue that. It will be cool if Erika is the Anchorbolt rep, but I will be sad if we don’t see much of Taizo or Kyouma. I wanted to see the three of them just terrorize the tournament. I’d love Zakusa and Samuel back as well. Zakusa was magnificent when they dropped the weird Overdress character jokes. It’s easy to see his connection to a unit like Orfist. I think Samuel could have been a fun character close to Taizo’s and Kyouma’s level, but the writer’s totally wasted him when they pretty much made him a plot device. Speaking of connections to units, I hope they keep the supernatural elements from DivineZ instead of going back to Will+Dress level. DivineZ made me realize that they didn’t even use as many of the “imagined” elements as Overdress did, like Touhya turning into Bastion or Masanori reaching back to grab Hendrina’s hand when he called her. Poor Raika got very little with Youthberk, to the point where you don’t really see much connection between them besides a few Cray story parallels. Give us more Avatar shenanigans and units being characters Bushi, if you’re not going to let us go directly to Cray. That line between Earth and Cray should look like Swiss cheese after the events of DivineZ and the Dragontree Invasion.
Oh right I didn't even bring up the supernatural element! It's a bit odd, I mean Michiru being back could really lean in more on the connection between Earth and Cray, not to mention if Urara or Halona does end up returning as well then there's the potential for their Psyqualia-adjacent abilities to get explored further. That said, they could also decide to keep it more or less anchored on the card game itself given that this is an irl professional tournament for these characters. I'd be fine with either tbh but the Supernatural might be nice if for no other reason than to get those cool avatar moments you're talking about and maybe an explanation of Michiru and co.
I think it would be cool if Erika is representing Taizo. Maybe kind of like how Tohya was supposed to promote Taizo as payment for training him before Masanori. Have Erika wear a logo of the company on her hoodie. As thanks for constantly helping her, Erika will be representing him since he couldnt make it (?).
I mean that could track, for all we know she could have Anchorbolt's logo on the back of the outfit and we just don't see it due to the positioning of the promo art. If so then great for her!
For Suzune, I actually hope she runs Lyrical. These past season we've had bosses for the other nations, I want them to give something big for Lyrical as I feel they aren't giving it enough credit despite having Fated/Destined units. Absolute Zero would be interesting to see as it would stop many multi-attack decks which a lot of the returning characters will be using. All of the decks in the recent Lyrical set never made it to show so it'd be cool to see it get screen time.
Definitely agree! Although Absolute Zero was my favored choice, again I realistically believe it'd be a new archetype which might be a tad oof given all the LM decks that just do not exist in the anime lol

Urara probably didn't come back because Lianorn is at least semi-viable. Besides Michiru, all three of the returning Overdress characters have fan favorite decks that have fallen to Table 500 status due to power creep.
Ngl I kinda blanked when it came to Urara but her absence is odd to me, particularly because I thought the whole extra-sensory psyqualia-adjacent stuff might make a comeback in the story with Michiru returning, but w/o Halona or Urara they may steer clear of that. So honestly yeah my bad for no bringing her up because she was a pretty legit part of the will Dress story
More then multi attack for bavsargra I want a better friendship fairy. I hate using that card. Also a order to gain energy for Zorga. And since Gui is featured gripho seed ride line retrain, with energy generator turn 1 and able to call units turn 1 and 2
Saw this on reddit that if you don't count Akina because he is the MC then there is a balance representation of the 5 Nation; Dragon Empire - Mirei and Nao Dark States - Michiru and Suo Keter Sanctuary - Erika and Raika Stoicheia - Megumi and Kuon Brandt Gate - Senka and Kagetsu Which leaves a very high chance that Suzune is a Lyrical rep. And plz correct if I'm wrong but normally every mainline booster set each nation gets at least 3 RRR. We got Keter covered so the remaining slots will be anyone except Tohya lol (sadge 😭😭😭).
Or Bushi simply learn they're lesson from WD that they want to focused on only these 12 fighters instead of multiple characters at once and have them lose off screen. Man that was brutal lol. WDs1 is lucky that the shown fights are bangers if not then rightfully it should get trashed. Not as trash as V's high school tournament arc, but a darn close 2nd if you ask me.

Since DivineZ Deluxe has total 15 episodes with only 12 participants fighter, i hope both Erika and Mirei has total 2 or more onscreen Vanguard fight and they win at least 1 time, also i want to see Erika and Mirei fight too.

New bav idea at the end of battle detach two arms restand and equip two different arms from drop and this unit gets 10k and drive minus 1 new support arms that give her triple drive make it a duel katanas that only work if the other is equipped
oooooo arm cards that specifically operate as dual wielding would be sick! Also makes it pretty interesting if they have different skills depending on the arm they're equipped to.
I can already imagine, Levidras losing to rush atk and lucky critical deck XD I would lose my shit if Kuon had king Levi in ride deck, Bushi doing Meta strategy yet again
They probably won't let Akina and Kuon ude their King Vanguards so they would both have an L in their first matches then both would top later on. Top 4 Deluxe will probably be Akina, Michiru, Yakumo, and Kuon. Kuon is debatable but he will most likely top in one of the brackets i.e. top 8
It's hard to say as I think the Kings and Rakshasa are probably admissible in tournament despite the nature of how those cards came into existence, that's just how Vanguard anime is ngl.
@@godsman00 I wouldn't be surprised either if Akina, Kuon, and Nao would get new Grade 3 versions of their cards. I mean, Mahar and Jheva were just ONE set apart. The only tricky part about it is how they will implement their divine skills.

Lyrical may be my least favorite clan but even I believe that Lyrical deserves it's time to shine.
