Solo boat CATCH AND COOK FISH TACOS from scratch | New Zealand softbait fishing and cooking

- Chasing a Catch head out fishing in Northland, Aotearoa New Zealand to fish with softbaits. This area of Northland holds a lot of snapper, gurnard, trevally, kahawai and kind fish. The fishing is good with perfect pan sized fish. I then anchor up and do a catch and cook of fish tacos for lunch making the tortillas from scratch.

You're video came up on my screen, so i thought I'd take a look and cool bud, I'm liking what i see.
But anyway nice catch and fresh is always best, plus yeah would love to see more catch and cook videos, especially when someone knows what they're doing lol.
I subscribe and follow quite a few NZ spearfisherman, but 1 not many of them do catch and cook videos, and 2, when they do they butcher the poor things with their slap up meals, and one in particular I have to say might need to take up some cooking lessons, so he doesn't make a mess of his catch when it's all cooked up. 😂😭🤣
So I'm looking forward to checking out all your other content you've made so far and look forward to seeing more especially with your cooking of any type of fish meal. Cheers 👍
PS, so are you up near the Bay of Islands Northland.? I'm in Whangarei myself and go out in the Harbour for a fish when I can.

what other fish are you likely to catch other than snapper?
Around here I’ve caught King fish, gurnard, trevally, kahawai, pig fish and John Dory. Lots more options that I haven’t yet caught around here or by going to different areas close by. Also heaps of bait fish options around too. Plenty to pick from which is neat.
Is this a new boat or am I misremembering?
Sure is. Thought it best now that we have more space and Zadie. Get down here so we can get you both onto some great fish! 🙌
